Mods, can you please close these worthless threads? No one cares if Billy from California doesn't buy the game. No one cares if he does. It's an expansion pack with new maps, new weapons, new styles of play, and new vehicles. That sounds like a winner to me.

So to all of you that don't buy it, have fun playing Karkand all the time.

And an infantry-concentrated expansion is any better than Karkand? And where do you get new styles of play? It's going to be the same old point festival with noob tubers and campers. There aren't any new game types to even try encouraging styles of play, the previews are all acted out. You give the BF general public too much credit.

It was buggy, lacked good textures and suffered from the same problems as BFV. I thought at least BFV had atmosphere. I tried to get into it but it just couldn't compare to DCF, even with the bumpmappy-ness of the BFV engine.

Its impossible to compare the expansion with anything till you yourself play it so why bother discussing if it has failed or not till then. These kind of posts are rather boring and overall retarded since there is no real way to tell if the game will be good or not. Hey look at halo 2, it looked like the **** before it came out and then hey look, it blew nuts and multiplayer has had a massive amount of cheaters that cant be stopped for over a year.

Hmm, i've never bought a battlefield expansion in my life. I might start with this one. The videos i've seen on IGN, warlord and Mass distruction look great. The huge mantion to fight through, and fighting in trucks is going to be fun. New maps, new guns, new sides, new models, is hella worth $30. I mean cmon guys, people spent $20! on new maps for halo2. I mean compare that to what you're getting in this for $30. I have looked at the battlefield1942 expansion (not secret weapons) and it looked just as great, if not better, than the first. But then again i've never played the game. BF: SF looks worth the $30.

About BFV, bad graphics? bad models!? I'm sorry but what are you comparing this to? If battlefield1942, you need to stop posting about it in this thread right now. Does everyone here remember how stupid the rifle models looked like in bf1942? Horrible! I loved how Dice fixed that up in bfv. Overall bfv was a much better looking game (shine affects, foliage, great textures for it's time) , maybe it wasn't played out to be with such huge battles as bf1942 had, but the smaller battles were just as good, if not better than bf1942's. Vietnam had smaller battles. This is comming from somone who didn't really like bfv at first glance, but when he upgraded and played it maxed (yea i know i based a game on a bad machine...) it was a much better experience.

Battlefield makes you feel like you're in the war you're fighting. World war 2, Vietnam, and now modern wars.

Good job Dice, keep on maken em. But lets get a demo out for SF and we'll all be even happier amirite?
