umm dude. When you see SUV's go up a damn wall and such it is a dramatization and each of those dramatized commercials state that you are seeing a dramatization and not reality. But when you see games those dramatizations are turned into a so called virtual reality that can be made for us to play.

Once again our logic has out done your virtual reality of a mind.

Why don't you go after Microsoft....Autodesk...I could list more...Or how about every car manufacture and how they deceive you into thinking your SUV can actually do what it does on the commercials...

Seriously nice effort...whatever floats your boat...I have been dealing with crapy messed up software since I have been dealing with computers...so oh about 20 years...This is nothing new but still carry on be proud and make some noise

Personally though I think you have to much free time on your hands...but that's just my opinion

I would go after MS if my OS failed to have half the features that bill advertised, and i cant remember the last time i had an issue w/ xp pro. I love it, no issues. And other than being a little old, my truck runs great.

When EA made this game engine they naturally assumed someone was going to come and make a good game with it. Just wait for a good mod, like what they did with Desert Combat from BF1942.

That may be true, however, BF1942 was an awesome game w/ a 3 yr. shelf life so far. It never had as many issues/faults/misleading advertisements as BF2 has. You cant make a great mod w/ a damaged product. Desert Combat worked well because there were no KNOWN issue's only glitches(which every game has). It took EA 1 1/2 yrs to get to the point where BF1942 was mostly perfect. But this is different, they are blatently avoiding it to release an expansion.
EA also hasnt released the SP1 COOP tools for Bot pathing, do you know how many people are waiting for those?

This thread is nothing but two guys trying to convince the rest of the community something they simply do not believe... I do not feel I was mislead what so ever about BF2 and in fact I would recommend the game to anyone...

As far as myself, I find it increasingly obvious that EA is not going to do anything about the issues. I gave it 3 months for patches that really dont do anything. I'm simply giving people a door to make a complaint against a company that doesn't care. The fact alone that they didn't revise the advertising after they realized they couldn't or wouldn't be able to provide what was promised is truth alone.

OK that's just wrong in so many ways...But seriously where on the game box and where on EAs site are they lying about the game...

You can not use things that where mentioned under development...since they where only mentioned in the brain storming stages...you should feel lucky they even shared that with us... You are basing your argument on what EA/DICE was considering to put in the game...

As for the bugs and flaws for the most part this game runs fine on millions of peoples machines...Yeah so its got some glitches I do not see the all out crazy bad code you talk of... Installing this software does not harm your PC in any way it is not malicious nor does it cause data to be corrupted... I just do not see your arguments... It's like you want to take on GM because they didnt make a concept car....

Dont get me wrong I hate big business as much as the next guy, but this game and false advertising I just dont get....

Okay here is a good example of an EA screw up.

Patch 1 is released. Patch 2 is released to take care of the problems of patch 1.

Patch 3 did not take care of any of the problems patch 2 was supposed to take care of.

Only thing patch 3 did was add crap to hide the real (beep).

So think about all that. They took forever buidling our hopes up just to fail us after a long long wait.
