Once again planes can not stop and go again in the air especially at low altitudes, they will stall they will crash. As far as people jumping up and down and shooting. No problem with that at all. With a rifle yes can be done. With the same accuracy as someone being in the prone position, negative. Jumpin and shooting a rocket launcher, last I remember in training they didnt advise that in fact it wasnt even a thought proccess. As far as military background. I have more military backround then I care to share with any of you.

Here's something you can do....borrow a paintball gun, go out to a field and jump up and down to the prone position over and over without stopping.
See if:
1 you don't hurt yourself,
2 break something,
3 break the gun or jam the barrel into the dirt,
4 even come close to hitting what you are shooting at.

So after reading this entire thread It seems there are only 3 major bugs that need to be fixed.
1.Red bug
2.being revived with no kit
3.Shooting someone only to see the projectile pass through them with no appearent damage.
Bunny hopping is something that most players grow out of (stop doing) when they realize all you have to do is shoot the bunny hopper every time they come down and hit the ground, while walking side ways, left or right (for some reason they cant shoot you while walking side ways, maybe not enough skill). All aircraft can fly at about zero speed its called going into a stall. The nade launcher is a weapon, it kills, get over it.If you dolphin dive on (in front of) a dolphin diver he probably wont kill you either.People who bail out of a vehicle always exit at the same point on the left or right place your shot there. At least 50% of the people who play BF2 these days (and they all seem to be on my team) play like its a single player game and they only have 2 lives. You need to work with your team mates even if your tactics suck you might win (the battle usually goes to the one team who arrives first with the most) anyway. The simplest Tactic is to take the path of least resistance, go to the flag where there are 3 enemy troops not the one where there are 15 and wonder why you got killed. Oh, and I forgot to add this isnt real life, Its a game, deal with it.

Looks like you haven't read all 26 pages if you only mentioned the 4 things above. Read more and you will find at least 10 other things.
too many problems with bf2.. tactics being used are all spammy and noobish, imo.
silly radars, and tank shells that dont take down choppers, ugh, hum,

THANK YOU!!! My sentinments exactly. I stopped playing BF2. IMO a wasted $49.99. If AA could be a little more like BF2 and BF2 a little more like AA, then we'd have ourselves a good game! I mean... if a frickin' Shilka (AT vehicle) is firing at a frickin' chopper or a plane in real life and would connect with just a fraction of what we hit planes and choppers with in the game... they'd be a red mist! if u didnt know when a plane goes in to hover mode the pilot is controling the rev's if you would like to call it this,
then the pilot controls the altitude an thrust to change direction and angle.
so YES a plane can stop,hover an continue to fly but cant not stop at the speeds as shown in bf game.
but also rember its a game not real life an the game makers have tryed to make it as mush realistic as they have enjoyable for some people.

try jumpin from any hight with body armour(combat vest)plus ur webbing (combat rigg) spare rounds for surpport weapons depending on ur roll in the army an the company u serve in as well as the plattoon as each company has there different roles.if u as u say have been in the military then u should already know this!
