used the money to buy Battlefront II , man what a differance..
A finished game!!!! No Crashes!!! And way less kiddies and morons

Where did you return it? I am starting to ponder whether I need to complain to EA and get my money back. I am back in the "Unmodified content" error now. Its been almost a month since I've played the game because it simply doesn't work!
The red blue tag is by far up in the worst. the best way to handle is (NO DONT SHOOT THEM) but to run away as far as possible and if they kill your men shoot them
how do you contact about issues, all i get when i go to ea is FAQ page. i can't get gamespy to work with bf2. gamespy told me to download the latest updates which i did but no go and then they tell me to go the game site for support which is nonexistant. don't tell me about ports,etc because i am not a tech person. i am a gamespy subscriber and would like to use their service since i am paying for it and it came with the game.
Mine's a rather minor issue, and I don't know if it's been brought up yet. I'd just like the name of the US Engineer shotgun to be changed from 11-87 to 870. For some reason they made the 11-87 a pump, even though it's semi-auto. They might as well just rename it 870, because the two are cosmetically similar, aside from the obvious differences between a pump and an autoloader.
Fixes? I think this is one of the best games I've ever played. Proof positive is the amount of emotion and heated arguements over issues such as bunnyhopping...you'd think somebody shot their mama. Wouldn't put that kind of energy behind...."The Chronicles of PeeWee Herman" game.
Ideas:
1. Instead of that obnoxious "Get Meds Here" incessent chatter, people with mics being able to be heard by other members (including opponents) up to 20-30 feet away, regardless of squad or not. That would be wicked.
2. Jets needing to land to be fixed. For those who want to argue otherwise, I haven't seen "R2D2's head" sticking up out the plane that pops up and puts fires out while your flying. Hours of hand-wrenching fun looking for special ops while being fixed. Just a thought.
3. AA, nade launchers, anti-tank, and even regular nades (VERY RARELY) should be "one-kills" on the choppers on certain spots (not all spots). A sloppy noob toss shouldn't always count. That would be fun. Come on....some of you guys are unbelievable chopper gods...and I want to be just like you when I grow up....you can handle a little more challenge. A barrel of fun!!
4. Forgive this repeat.....thinner crosshairs on the M95 sniper...definitely.
5. Here's a sick one. Add animals to the fray. A flock of birds taking out a jet through the engine?? I wouldn't mind a rendered cow or something now and then meander into the middle of the road....."Moooooooo-smack!!!". (Oh, you don't think it happens in real life....). Lots of fun, lots of fun. How about a sniper using one for cover. Could you cap the cow to land on top of him? :)
6. That train in Omar and Karkand outta move now and then.....what fun chases would arise then!!! The prone sniper would have to time it between wheels....eeewwwwwww. Tank and train collisions. NOW THAT'S EXCITEMENT!!!!
7. How about some collateral damage!!! WHERE'S THE PEOPLE. Hey, negative one point for taking out a civilain. Artillary and airplane bombing would be a little more interesting.....eewwwww.

Ive noticed 2 new Bugs, maybe not new but just rare, the first is the medic class not being able to revive certin players sometimes, I hit one of my squad members 3 times with the shock paddles, we were behind a wall, and couldnt revive him. The second is I have spawned as a chinese soldier on an auto balance server,and was being given T/K points for killing marines (I killed 2). I also noticed someone else had this happen. He looked like a chinese soldier (I was a marine) and had a blue name and was killing marines, he was listed as a marine with no T/K's when I pressed tab, so I guessed Red bug and killed him and got T/K points? Might also be a cheat of some kind? Except how did it happen to me? I refuse to use any cheats, Ill change games first.
I also have an observation to report. I have seen players using cheats, the most obvious is a spawn cheat easy to detect when they spawn close to the center of a working UAV scan, and I noticed that a lot of lag is generated when cheats are being used. Maybe this is how they escape detection? Just something I noticed...Red

Are you sure he wasn't dead?
Sometimes if you get hit hard enough, you surpass being wounded and are just killed outright. There's also stage of wonding, it seems. Sometimes is just harder to revive someone. I suspect there's a random "roll" being mad each time to apply da mystic zap paddles of life.
I know I've been stairing at the sky saying "come on medic boy! Zap me again!" after they've hit me with the juice once and I didn't get up.
Pinging 30 to a local server, maybe 17 people in the server (32 size), and start to get connection problems over 40 seconds, leading to a bf2 crash, and my net disconnecting.
Another problem:
When you login via the menu after you load bf2, sometimes you can uncheck the "remember password" button even though you click the login button.
If you can't handle playing against children how are you going to get good at the game. They may be able to crush you as soon as you get near them but the point is you suck and this is not an issue of the game but an issue that is easily fixed by instead of complaining about how you get owned by everyone, but by playing the game and learning by your mistakes.
