are you mostly ****ed off with bombers or fighters? i usually only fly fighters. i can hit just as much with the bombs for some reason and everything else is better anyway. at the moment i only land if i crippled myself trying to fly through a tunnel or something

The AA sucks, its tracking ability is really bugged, i mean, rockets miss, 1 meter before they hit the target. TEAM VEHICLE DAMAGE! What a good way to discourage the use of AA, give the people who dare to use them minus points for risking their lives sitting in a deathtrap like the Igla/stinger emplacements!

And for ffs, im getting so tired of "OMG whINERS" posts, add something constructive or dont post at all!, why arent the mods banning these trolls?

BYW this game IS NOT PURELY INFANTRY, ITS OVERALL MILITARY. PERIOD.

Yeah, and join the ranks of the plane campers, waiting forever at the airfield for a jet I might not even get. And nice hypocrisy too, you say this game is overall military yet also say the only way to deal with airpower is to go fly myself. Otherwise I "catan" stop air power.

I agree I'm fed up with the situation.
I hardly see any dogfights all it is,is planes doing bombin runs on infantry/armour all that never get any friendly pilots come to the rescue

That sometimes works, but with the "ub3r 1337" pilots. With tanks you can get below or above their turret range, but with an experience jet pilot, there is NO where you can get where they can't bomb you. I've seen them bomb me through windows. No matter where you go a heli or jet can get an angle on you and shoot you directly or with splash damage.

Jets are simply a lot of fun to fly. Choppers are too.

Of course they're fun, I didn't say "Man, flying jets is so boring, let's take them out of the game". But I bet teamkilling is fun too. I'm not pro-teamkilling though because it ruins the game for everyone else (there's a difference, but you can probably get the idea). Like I said, I don't have anything against pilots who use jets and helis while they are in the game, otherwise it could give the other team an unfair advantage to have more pilots in the air, its those who say "Screw good gameplay, I want my precious kills!" so they call everyone who can back up their oppinions with reason and logic whiners and would boycott Special Forces if EA nerfed airpower.

Don't stand around in the spawn point then go move your lazy ass and capture another one, also you have to actually have some skill to fly a plane you need no skill to walk across a runway and plant mines on it.

Don't know about the rest, but I have a hell of a lot more fun playing in stand offs, than hiding from planes...

And about the skill part, you can't miss a target with those bombs... Specially not when the targets are being lite up like a christmas tree on your hud...

Standoffs, exactly! That's what makes airpower so annoying too! There's nothing worse than outsmarting an enemy and just before you can kill him you get shot down by a heli? Where did you go wrong? Nowhere. You were just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
