Even though I find it disturbing, all I can say is WOW!! WHAT A SHOT!!

I know nothing about these sort of weapons, so can someone tell me how he managed to hit that choppa from so far away? Was it heat seeking? Or was it a fluke shot from all the high fives and trash talking yelled out at the end.

Because that's how real AA in real life works. You can hit targets miles and miles and miles away. Shoulder mounted AA missles, such as the one shown, are very easy to operate. In real life, shoulder missiles like the stinger missile launcher, basically is you point at your target, when you hear the tone, that means you have a lock. Push the button and away goes the missile. Boom, one less aircraft lol. Not like BF2...where you wait for a tone...you lock on, and then you fire and miss, and miss....and miss....then hit a friendly...and miss.... Or even perhaps die before you even get a lock on because of the jets cannons make swiss cheese of you or get blown up from bombs lol

ok I gotta question...

I've used the mobile AA alot and I've managed to take out a few (not very bright) pilots but in the case where the pilot is even just a decent one all he has to do is make a run at my vehicle, throw flares, drop bombs and all my missiles will miss. That's if he doesn't have a co-pilot, if he does have one then he only needs to line me up for all of two seconds and let the co-pilot take a shot and I'm blown to bits in which case I might be able to get one burst from my gun and no more than two missile shots at him. So how would improving AA or nerfing the jets still keep a bomber from just using the tactic of throwing flares and then dropping bombs??? I'm all for balancing the game but if they made it to where your stingers could still hit a jet while it's already thrown flares then I could see a case for pilots to start bitching about getting their precious bombers nerfed.

can someone please answer?

edit: Oh yeah some of you who are like "the jet is the ultimate weapon in a real war blah blah blah" are stupid. Yeah they sure would be if they could ****ing REARM, REFUEL AND REPAIR IN MIDAIR but that isn't the case in real life is it? I have absolutely no thorough knowledge on the process of how a bomber lands and rearms in a combat environment but lets assume that the targets are even so close to the airfield that it only takes the bomber/fighter jet a few minutes to take off, approach the area and make a bomb run....that's still a few minutes to fly back and...assuming the support crew was created by god and they're all flipping out on some serious hardcore crack cocaine, another 5 minutes to rearm and take off for another run. The fact that a jet can bomb a flag, rearm, fly back and bomb the same flag all within the span of less than 30 seconds sucks more than how useless the AA is. No other vehicle can rack up so many kills so quickly without even having to worry about dying!

Most of this guys kills were flying right over the USS Essex and killing people with "Road Kills" as he clipped them with the plane.

I've seen people doing nothing but bombing and had a score of 70:1. I shot him down and he tried to vote kick me.

Vote kicks are stupid because they count the OTHER team.

Plus many people disable voting or don't vote at all because they are busy trying not to get killed.

People need to start giving a reasonto kick. I personaly dont vote because I dont know y they want to get rid of somone. If people say "this pearson intentionally TK'd me" then I would vote but i will not be a part of kicking for no reason.
