well...... ummm thats just sad if you lay down your life for a cheesy medal.

Like i said its a medal of shame...... if you wanna sit and be target practice for the other team go for it big guy.

O.K ok its a medal of shame you win . Actually getting a 1:4 kill death ratio is not a goal of mine . However sometimes i get so involved in a game i lose count of how many ive killed to how many have killed me . Might be in a squad in a situation of extreme duress from an attacking force . Perhaps stupidly i would keep respawning in a danger zone to help repel the attack and perhaps take undue risks to take out a rampant tank or 2 decimating my team. Sometimes the enemy is overcome and you achieve some really important objectives . In a couple of cases my k/d ratio has been awful but the game rewards that sacrifice when you achieve something . Ive obviously been playing the game wrong and in future i will just try and preserve the best kill/death ratio possible. Perhaps you could advise me of some tactics to help do this as at the moment its not outstanding . I would still like my shame medal though cause i earnt it.

I guess this will take some tweaking on their point, I have 7200GP's and I am already a Staff Sergeant.

the heck with that, I was a Lance Corporal an now im a freaking Gunnery Seargent with 4 unlocks. WTF, I dont like that, I feel like I havent worked hard enough for that, I would have liked to have one other unlock but I got 4!:cry:

So it like this:
I have 'bout 17000 points and The patch pumped me up from Corporal to Gunnery Sergeant. It says that my next rank will be Master Sergeant.

Here is my problem/question.
The BFHQ bar shows NO progress towards the next rank! I've read from UBAR that its 8000 points for Gunnery- and 20000 for Master Sergeant AND based on that info I assume the progress bar should be 3/4 full.

Has anyone else this problem?

yea, my stats finally started working. got my two ranks and unlocks yesterday, and im already pretty close to staff sergeant, so i'll have that unlock soon. the jump from gunnery sergeant to master sergeant is kind of long, but i guess that's good, because the others are way too easy.

Btw, can anyone confirm that you don't need basic repair + basic supply + basic first aid + basic explosives badges to become first sergeant?

They're just changing the ranks/unlocks so everyone has them before the expansion comes out. This will introduce new weapons/ranks. Basically just EA making us buy the expansion and make it look more enticing.

Now that's just being unfair.

Loads of people before complained that they would never get half the unlocks because the requirements were rediculous. (Anyone who had more than two or three before the patch needs a life..)

Just became 1st sergeant, and you don't need all the basic badges for it :)

I updated the Medal Progress Tracker to reflect the new rules for awards.
(Just type your nick or pid on the right hand side of the site and click medal progress)

Lucky I didn't hard code all those award criteria - lol

Your "legion of merit" ribbon "worst death streak" result is incorrect.

Should be PASS for 8 or more worst death streak.

Guys lets just play some battlefield. Leave it to the experts they will work it out. By the way if an expert sees this you cant search servers by ping, name, ect ect anymore since the 1.03 patch. Least I cant. By the way I think you should lose points if you crash your vehicle into anyone elses at all because you would never find that many people willing to commit suicide and it gets a bit ridiculious at times. The other day I was in the cobra as was flown into 20 times at least by the unskilled childern of a lesser world. Thanks. See you on the battlefield. Peace

I didn't have time to read every reply on here and I'm not really sure where this should go so I'll start here.

Yesterday, I recieved the Veteran Spec Ops badge. Sweet! Nope...never showed up in my BFHQ or on stats pages.

Tonight, I get the Veteran Command badge. Again, the badge isn't there.

To clear this up, I not only finished the map on which I recieved the badges, but I played numerous other matches to ensure that it should stick.

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
