We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
So it like this:
I have 'bout 17000 points and The patch pumped me up from Corporal to Gunnery Sergeant. It says that my next rank will be Master Sergeant.
Here is my problem/question.
The BFHQ bar shows NO progress towards the next rank! I've read from UBAR that its 8000 points for Gunnery- and 20000 for Master Sergeant AND based on that info I assume the progress bar should be 3/4 full.
Has anyone else this problem?
yeah i have had this problem too. The global score still comes up, but there might be a reason y the progress bar doesn't show
Yesterday, I recieved the Veteran Spec Ops badge. Sweet! Nope...never showed up in my BFHQ or on stats pages.
Tonight, I get the Veteran Command badge. Again, the badge isn't there.
To clear this up, I not only finished the map on which I recieved the badges, but I played numerous other matches to ensure that it should stick.
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
i think you played on one of those "fake" ranked servers. they will show up as "ranked" in your server browser but in actuality, they're not. i don't know why this happens or what causes this but i've avoided these types of servers by avoiding ALL other US servers unless it starts with 70.86.x.x, 69.12.x.x, 64.69.x.x and of course, the EA US official ones.
if it's a server outside the US and it's ranked, be assured that it IS ranked. in over 350+ hours of playing, i've never played in a server outside the US that isn't really ranked.

I only play on Europe servers and had this happening to me during on last Thursday.
Pastly my stats have updated in an hour but I lost 3 hours + some badges on some europe server (I am 90% sure it was UK).
I played after that in a different server and those stats HAVE updated. It's been 3 days now so I suppose that one server was also fake.
Can anyone confirm the expert class badges because I just got 40 kills with med in a round and didnt get it, yes I have just over 100 hours.
I got expert engineer combat badge yesterday which has same requirements.
However I think it was little over 100 hours. When I first started trying it I had 99 hours 59 minutes (before started playing) but didn't get it even with 50+ kills. Then couple of days after that I got it in the middle of the round and I am quite sure I didn't even have 40+ kills that time but I think I got some of the kills with handgun instead of vehicle.
Same thing happened for Veteran SpecOps combat badge. I only got it when I also used C4 in a round - not just vehicles.
its a complete disgrace how EA have given in to kids requesting lower point values to ranks and such. I don't thin they should have tinkered around with it, that was the whole point of the expert badges and having awards for various feats - they were tehre to be earned and celebrated upon achievement, now everyone and his brother can have nearly every bloody honour after a week of gaming. I dont think everyone should be able to get every award, they should be genine reconitions of excelled performance in a particular field.
I find it amazing to see people complaining about the new ranks saying they're "too easy" or the game has lost longevity. I ask those people to get to the top rank (250,000 points) and obtain all medals BEFORE complaining. I assure you...its no easy feat.
It was a master stroke by EA. We all knew 2,500,000 points was near impossible.
