thank god they lowered the point requirements

i got veteran medic badge, veteran first aid badge, and good conduct ribbon in one round and using the requirements from bf2s.com. they're mostly correct. im gonna try to get all the vet badges and then all ribbons, except maybe war college considering its impossible.

I've got 50 hours as an engi, and I got something like 25 kills in one round were all I did was play engi.......


does it have to be on an offical EA server?

is anyone have problems that when they get a badge ,ribbon that they are not showing ?????

Well i won the purple heart for a second time a couple of weeks ago and it never registered....still shows 1X and last time awarded as the first time i won it

umm thats a good thing. Purple Heart is a medal of shame. 1-4 kill/death ratio........ if you get that even once its laughable. If you get that 2wice.....hold your head in shame.

The old ranking system was too hard by maybe bout a factor of 2 but the new one is a joke . I joined my first patched server last night an thought i had somehow joined a game for elite ppl only...then instapromotions. Ranks should have to be earned through reasonable effort and dedication . Its gone too far the other way now...i would rather it went back to before. Ive been busting my gut to get to corporal which i would have felt was a good reward for quite a bit of gaming. Now i kind feel a bit duped . Also there are too many ranks ...now im a staff sergeant i have more stipes but so does everybody else . They need about eight ranks and made harder again

I disagree ....its a bad kill death ratio but youve got to play very well as regarding pointscoring etc ....its called laying down your life for the good of the cause...plus i havent won any other medals yet

Here are the ranks as I can make out from the gameslave site.
Gameslave stats viewer shows the amount of points needed to progress.

Private 1st Class 150 points
Lance Corporal 500 points
Corporal 800 points
Sergeant 2500 points
Staff Sergeant 5000 points
Gunnery Sergeant 8000 points
Master Sergeant 20000 points
First Sergeant 20000 points + all basic badges ???
Master Gunnery Sergeant 50000 points
Sergeant Major 50000 points + all basic badges ???
2nd Leiutenant 250000 points

Not 100% sure about the requirements for the First sergeant and Sergeant Major, but when comparing guys with equal scores and different ranks the only difference that I can make out is that the guys with First sergeant and Sergeant Major ranks have all of the basic badges and those that dont have the Master Sergeant and the Master Gunnery Sergeant ranks. The stripes are the same but the First Sergeant has a diamond in the centre rather than the crossed rifles and the Sergeant Major has a star in place of the crossed rifles.

Can someone explain please how come:
I have 37,298 pts,all Basic Badges and some Veteran and I'm only a Master Sergeant?
Actualy I don't care but there is (on another forum ,non english) thread about this sort of stat bugs.Or this is not bug?Anyway I just wonder does anybody knows anything about it.
