We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
BEFORE YOU EDIT, RIGHT CLICK THE KITS SUBDIRECTORY AND UNCHECK'Read Only' then apply to all subdirectories, etc.
I followed all of your steps, making sure I didn't screw up... then I got to here. Okay, went into properties. Unchecked "read only" apply to all subdirectories and files. Went into US... but I see no .con files? Just to make sure I hadn't done something wrong, I right clicked the Kits folder properties. It has Read Only checked again. Is there some kind of setting on my computer that wont let me modify that? or...
Ok I would like to do this but I'm a bit scared that I will mess up things and something terrible happens. So if I get it correctly I should make a back up off the original folder and use that one when going to play multiplayer? Does that mean I only can't play online with that changed file or should I also don't log in to my online account?

Except the zip file in question is 45 megs, and it involves editing files within a zip.
It wouldn't be that hard to get a program to backup original and replace with an already edited one, but like I said, 45 megs.
Or code up a program to copy original, extract, edit, repack. But that would take coding knowledge, and patience.
