Sucky gunners tend to not only give away my trying to come up behind an enemy for an easy kill - but they frustrate the hell out of me and my flying can go down the crapper.

Reading this post the other day inspired me to do a little research. Decided to settle the debate on the gunner's tv view - vs - the pilot view. Not sure if you have seen the pictures or not - but if you are going to fly for me as a gunner - PLEASE LOOK AT THIS http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29408

I had a pilot last night that swore up and down that I was a bad gunner - when he never gave me a shot at anything - other than clouds. When I finally stole the pilot seat from him - he got to see first hand how to fly for your gunner. Key word there FOR your gunner. Not flying as a gunner so to speak.

Here's a tip, F**kING SHOOT SOMTHING!!!!! I have had gunners that diden't shoot at anything! I would be better off without them!

I have had gunners in DC a lot of the time that don't shoot the enemy when they are practically looking right at us, very frustrating.
Half of them probably don;t even know about the pressing of the C key to remove the rendered cockpit either :|:

I stay out of the birds though, too many plane campers for that on most maps, so somebody has to be out on the ground

Very good guide, thanks for the enjoyable read! Scary though the lack of sense of humour some people have.

This is the best advice for chopper gunners i have ever seen, soooo true about the first stealth shot on the enemy chopper, good god dont use the gun first
