Please... It should be HARDER to gain ranks. I can get 2,000 points a day w/o trying all that hard... If 10,000 points is too much for you to get to the next rank then stop playing noob.

Ok, I agree that getting ranks is too hard but think of it this way. What if there weren't ranks or unlockable weapons? People could just play the game to have fun and to win the match, not to get your next medal. I think ranks are just a nice bonus that you really shouldn't give too much thought to.

I had an email from codemasters ( I know they don't make bf2, just go with it,ok) the other day. Part of a survey thing.

Would you be willing to pay for unlocked extras in a game and how much?

Would you be willing to buy an item that gave you an advantage in a game?

Personally I don't like the direction that email was going. Imagine games of the future.

I wouldn't mind waiting to get unlocks so much, if the unlocks were actually better than the stock weapons. From what I've tested and read, they're mostly just a pile of poo.
