Is Karkand the lowest skilled map?

i particularly don't like the map because it DOES NOT take skill to be hit 5 times at pointblank range by a rifle, and still have time to fire off a grenade launcher round, and live. I freakin HATE that. you can completly catch someone by suprise, but if they have a loaded grenade round, you're screwed.

Karkand is the battlefield equivalent of dust, small narrow passages with lots of nade spamming and what not. It's just like dust in my opinion, it has the same vibe.

Strike at Karkand is my guilty pleasure. I enjoy it so much. I really hope we see more maps as this one in the future and the expansion gets it right. It does seem to attract a lot of idiots though. It just boggles my mind on a 64 player server..that only a couple of people will think to flank to get a flag to stop the bleed. But I understand. Sometimes fighting on the front lines is just too fun. It's where all the action is!

it kinda reminds me of lost village on dc, i loved that map....ahh those good ol days. now all u hear about is people complaining about the noobtube and lack of maps and this that and the other...if you dont like the gameplay make a mod, if u dont like the maps, take the time out of your busy schedule and create some new ones. we should all be thankfull that ea didnt send us a game with only 4 or 6 maps. think about it. what does complaining get u? nothing, either deal with it, or play cs or ut2k4. btw, i friggin hate nade whores. bah. /rant off.

To many people play it since tanks and apcs are so annoyingly hard to kill if your playing just for the cqc vrs infanty, then theres nade launcher whores to, but overall the people that dont these things arent that much newbish. Sure therell be some but its a fairly good spread of skill level like most other maps.

i love the GLs... but most of the time i use it as a long range weapon... just tonight on karkand i fired on nade from the first base to the next one back and got a guy running... if you use the GL like its sposto be used it takes skill... if you run in to a group of guys pointing your gun down well... i think you get the point...

Strike people are to wreckless... I just get in the tank and average 20-80 kills a round...

Its pretty insane. People just throw themselves at you... People running across streets thinking they can make it safely across... sure some do, but most dont.

What I like best are the noobs that start shooting RPK's at me... The tracers lead me to exactly where they are and boom they are dead.

ok, with why people think its a noob map is because of a vicious cycle of ranked servers. 1st, most ranked servers have it in heavy rotation because it attracts people. Noobs get on and see a 10:1 ratio of that map to every other and naturally they are going to choose it.. I personally love it because im one of those sadistic campers who sit at the front line and wait for the noobs to come running down the middle of the street.. Easy kills..

As for the noob tubers, Same thing.. I love um.. Chances are that your going to miss me with your missle if im on foot.. that piece of **** takes about 10 seconds to reload, at which point I have gone through my entire clip on them.. Easy kill, 2 more points in the bag.

M203: People always ***** about this saying "They shoot it at my feet and I die, but they dont.."..... no ****? Your having a GRENADE go off on your feet.. point blank range.. Chances are you are one of those noob tubers, a sniper, medic or special forces and last I checked, none of them have body armor. The assault player who just sent your ass flying in the air does.

I think it comes down to, if you dont like the map.. whos forcing you to play.. My server count today was about 1700 ranked server.. If you cant find another map in the 1700 servers available, you have problems..

No, i'm not a noob, i go around a corner, the enemy appears, starts bunny hopping like mad, and launches the 203 from the air, i die, he doesn't. In real life, the thing would bounce off, it doesn't activate until 100 meters or so, and the splash damage would of killed us both, plus armor only reduces the damages by 33%, if i threw a grenade at a fully healthed Assault and they were like 2 feet away from it, they would die. Anyways, i've shot 203's at assaults feet and they die, it's not the armor, it's the bunnyhopping, EA thought they could make the average soldier with body armor and equipment jump like 6 feet, it's crazy. That's why i don't play on Karkand anymore.
