Personally unless it really is a clear act of griefing (TK by knife or something) or incredibly stupid behaviour (Like being run over by a tank even though you're running along the *side* of the road in plain view, or you and usually a few other teammates are around the flag capping it and some genius comes up and chucks a grenade behind the sandbags 'to make sure its clear') I will forgive most TKs immediately. Sometimes I'll ask 'why?' over teamchat though if it is something that I think the person had to put SOME thought into setting up the kill but it could still be a case of mistaken identity or something, and just let it time out if I don't get an explanation (pilots I'm pretty lenient with though, because I know it can be hard to find a chance even to use the commo rose let alone type something out, but if a tanker comes up close behind my APC when I'm ina fight and puts a round right in my ass I better get an explanation as to why he though I was a bigger threat than the enemy).
One thing I noticed earlier that I don't *quite* agree with-
If its a case of 1 friendly vs. several enemies (especially if there really are 3 enemy APCs) at a flag, or if there's one friendly surrounded by a bunch of enemy armor, I see it as perfectly acceptable for a commander/pilot to expect the friendly to be dead either by the time the strike lands or shortly therafter, so risking the TK still lets your team get ahead (yes, your guy dies, but this way so do some of the enemy vehicles, making it much easier for the rest of your team to move in and clean up the area). I'm not saying I'm advocating indiscriminate bombing/artying, but that sometimes you will get artied/bombed and killed, and just have to accept that as being the way the cookie crumbled and accept it rather than getting pissed off thinking 'I could have taken them.'

That's because I don't think it's ok for a commander to drop arty on friendlies, and then blame THEM for not running out in the open past three enemy apc's to get away. Fair enough, if I run into the arty it's my fault, but if it targets me it's not my fault.
