The ratio of two numbers r and s is written r/s, where r is the numerator and s is the denominator. The ratio of r to s is equivalent to the quotient r/s.

      Example:
Global Kill (r) to Death (s) Ratio Must be Greater than 3 (implying a 3/1 since 3 divided by 1 equals 3)

      r (Kill) = 3
      s (Death) = 1

      3 / 1 = 3

Therefore according to Ubar you nedd 3 kills for every one death.

With that cleared up it is apparent that the 3:1 ratio is wrong since someone with a 1.56 got the ribbon.

      It's 1:3 or better

totalbf2 says 1:3, UBAR says 3 (3:1), Planetbattlefield says no KDR requirements.
Who gives a ****? One of the guys has a 1.55 KDR. None of us need to worry about having a 3:1 KDR.

good just need to know what else we need. if the score was 10000, wouldnt more people have it if they had more than 50 hours

i would like to crack this elusive ribbon :)

please tell me youre joking. Just think about what you said logically. it doesnt make any sense.

shaft, thanks for keeping us informed of your experimentation. personally, dont think wins with a particular side matter, as this guy (http://bf2s.com/player/Sgt_MaxPower/) who is the top commander in BF2, has well over 100 wins on all sides yet doesnt have the award. let us know if you find anything new

Hey Shaft, are you still running version 1.0? I haven't been on a server with scores like that for a month (also looks like you play with stat padders)

Ah, You have a math degree. Then you can really appreciate why I wanted to correct your inaccurate post. Reread it.

It seems like Ubar started this whole 3:1 k:d thing. All of the BF2 sites originally had a 1:3 k:d ratio stated last week and then they changed it this week for some reason.

There is definately a total score requirement too since the ribbon requires a "Good" Proficiency (total score). Guess we just need to find out how much that is.

                  War College Ribbon Criteria
Command Qualification: Skilled (Time as commander) 50 hours
Commmand Proficiency: Good (Total commander score) ?
Command Rating: Outstanding (Single-round commander score) 45

Nope, 1.02. No stat padding that I saw. Just alot of flag capping. That was an 18 player server with 64player maps. The round lasted a long time. The way I see it is they could have played 4 maps in that time on a regular server acquiring the same amount of points. Really makes no difference. Except when youre commander, the long rounds help you get 45+ points in a round.

As for 10,000+ commander points in 50hrs? I doubt it. I had like 7-8k after 50hrs.

Ok, seeing that originally ubar stated it was 1:3.. then changed it to 3:1 and a guy with a 1.55 has it... WTf...

it could be that this guy had 3:1 in the moment of getting it??

But it would take a lot of deaths to decrease the ratio to 1.55 so this doesn´t seem probable.

I'm starting to think the KDR for this ribbon is a purple elephant.

well, the guy earned the ribbon on 7/26, only a few days ago, and his K/D ratio was like 1.7 or something if i can remember correctly. The other guy that has it, G3157, has a K/D ratio of over 3:1 so it doesnt matter if the ratio is 1:3 or 3:1, Kill-death ratio apprently has no bearing on getting this award
