War College Ribbon = stupid one ?

People like to acheive things. Whether it's easy to get or not. We just like stuff. It's like an award..it's like loot. Why do people play MMOs so much? You can always get something cool even if it is only pixels. It's what people want. It's what people like. It drives people to gain this object of glory.

I have been going 007 the past few days just trying to get the expert pistol badge. If people like to do it then let em.

I understand what you mean and personally i like those medals too. But im not hunting them. I like to gain those medals/ribbons by achieving them by playing game normally, not running around with my pistol so i can get one lousy badge.

I understand what you mean too. I liked getting the badges and ribbons randomly. But then they just stopped coming. After a while I started looking up what badges I was missing and what ribbons I didn't have. That's when I started hunting for em.

Yeah somthing is wrong with these requirements...I met all the requirements and got 56 command points 40kills, and 1 death in a round today and I didnt get it. I have 52 some hrs in as commander and 3.09 K/D ration.

This is driving me nuts.

first off, let me clarify some things. You need a 3:1 K-D ratio. Meaning if you have 1000 deaths, you need 3000+ kills. Very difficult to get, and everyone that has this ribbon has this ratio. Most people will not be able to obtain this if they are Lance Corporal or above and do not have a 3:1 ratio. Second of all, you also need a specific commander round score, i believe 45. So the person could have a 3:1 K-D ratio, the 50 hours as commander, but they havent gotten 45 commander points in a round, which is why they dont have the ribbon

Kill death ratio greater than 1:3...for every 1 kill you must have no more than 3 deaths. Meaning you can have 3000 kills and 0-9000 deaths. 1:3 = 1/3. To be greater than 1/3 you can go up to 2/3 or 1. A kill/death ratio of 3:1 is greater than 1:3.


If it says kill/death ratio 1:3 that means kills = 1 and deaths = 3.

Right?

Ya i think you need 3 kills for every 1 death. Which i dont think is very gay. If you are commander (90%) of the time, or a REALLY GOOD PLAYER IN COMBAT this should not be hard to pull off. Think, if you sit in your main base and command, getting artillary kills you could pull off 20:0 kill death ratio if you did it 100% of the time.

This ribbon is not for everyone. Mainly just for people who command almost all the time they can. And ofcourse when they do play they play pretty damn good just to keep the 3:1 ratio.

I think you can pretty much rule out the KDR thing. This guy recieved his WCR a few days ago and only has a 1.55KDR

I wish someone could get the facts straight....most of the commanders on the leaderboard dont even have this ribbon.
