This is a world where the minority groups win.

even in a game played on PC's....

I want to see limbs and arms blown off if i get hit by a tank.
I want to crouch down behind a wall and look at a body which was perviously my squad leader..

Considering how fast paced the action is, I think a blood patch, while aesthetically pleasing, wouldn’t do a whole lot for the game. Games like Soldier of Fortune or Raven Shield are a bit slower, so you can take time out to appreciate the blood effects.

I’m not against a blood patch—not by any means—I just don’t think it’d make a real difference, and there are far more important things to be concerned with regarding a patch. Still…if someone wanted to make a third-party patch (assuming it works on ranked servers), that’d be pretty cool.

I wouldn't find a puff of blood coming out of the soldier because that isn't much though. It would be cool and you would be able to see where you hit the person atleast. That's my 2 cents on it anyway.

I dont want gibbing or anything like in quake, couse it make games look ugly. But little blood puffs like in Brothers In Arms would be nice. And ofcourse some sort of entry and exit wounds. So that when u snipe some1, u can go there and look where exactly u shot him

God its sad how many people forget this. It could be applied to so many different political issues with games its sad. Maybe if the parents didn't buy whatever games their children asekd them to.....WOAH WOAH WOAH what am I saying people are too smart for that, if they did that they would actually have to be accountable for their own actions instead of being able to blame their troubles on games music and tv and, heaven forbid, bad parenting.

umm...i remember downloading this sparticular mod that added quick 'blood sprays' when hit by bullets. Not like the b-movie type sprays but kinda like saving private ryan blood sprays (stylishly realistic). Anyway, I have the file in my comp. Can i upload it to this thread?

Be warned though, i tried to use it in the EA server in Thailand and they don't allow mods in the server (idiots) so I'm not sure how it'll turn out....

Hmm no i dont think so im the first one out of god knows how many generations not to join the British army in my family (well on me dads side anyway) my family has spilt enough blood for my country it can skip this generation. I just though it would of been nice for the game like the guy that originaly started this thead.

BTW ive actualy got family over in iraq now fighting so you making stupid comments like that is anoying as hell .

If sum1 does put blood and stuff in a game plz make it blackhawk down style you guys know what i mean right? If they do this I don't think BF2 would be the same no more so it should just be like mod or sumthing for all you people that have not seen blood/gore in real life or the ones that just don't care.I don't want to see no little blood spray I want to see Karkland with blood all over the place and the gun sall bloody but make the medic freak out when he gets a load of blood to the face.
