bf2 needs some gore.....not to much but like when a guy gets shot my a tank chunks of him go flying and his limbs rip off syraying blood every where and other people get hit by the limbs and die. Or if hit by a car he flys through the windshield and impales the driver or blocks his view with his mangled bodie. j/k....j/k...j/k..... BF2 should have a bit like in aao or just a bit more.. like so you know where target went or something by seeing a bit of blood on a wall.
Blood/Gore patch, you know we all want one

Wouldn't we all like a permformance patch? But this is completly unrelated. One is a 3rd party mod, the other is an official patch that EA needs to release. Mods arent made force changes on players, they are made to enhance gameplay for whoever wants to try it.Originally posted by Disconnect=the=XI'd love a stability performance patch, Im asking for a blood patch, not from EA, but from the mod community.......I can totally see the cross hairs, but thats not enough, i'd like a little blood, thats all....
if you dont like blood, good for you, dont use a blood patch. no biggie.

I agree that sometimes blood and gore patches can get out of hand. If anyone remembers some of the blood addons for MOHAA you know what i mean. But some sort of blood addon would be nice. Would make it more realistic. Just a small puff of mist or something like how the blood is in the Rainbow Six Series.Comment

definatly ... i loved that game tho... one of my favorite FPSOriginally posted by SodaHow come when it comes to gore peope think of UT and Quake?
I always thought Soldier of Fortune series were the most gorriest and bloodiest FPS out.
in real life... unless ur shooting certain parts or useing a .50 maybe i havnt seen to much blood... i mean especially chest shots... ur not gonna see any
theres enough hilary clintons in the world now anywho... adding blood would just make for cannon fodderComment

small puffs of blood, stains, something would be cool. It would be really cool if it can be made to react to say a tank shell or .50 cal or a rifle, different powers=different blood gore on different levels......all just wishful thinking i guess. would be nice thats all.. If you'd like to use it then cool, if not then cool....IM not asking that this be an official EA patch, just a 3rd party MOD would be cool.Comment

Blowing heads off with a M590, then taking knife and cut off his legs and hands. Fun indeed :)Originally posted by SodaHow come when it comes to gore peope think of UT and Quake?

Agreed, SOF 2 rocks. Every time you snipe someone, their head explodes in a different way!
Now, i don't expect that from BF2, but i would expect that someone can figurer out how to make the retarded gray dust that apperas when shot red, make it look more like blood, and i also think a red entry and exit would texture could be pasted on the player.
even goldeneye had blood on you when you got shot, and all the other textures and vehicles inthe game, if you shoot them (and it goes through them), there is a bullet hole thing on each side.Comment

thank you, folks, we have a lead!Originally posted by agentbadwell here is a blood patch but it only works in single player unfortunetly. may be a way to modify it to get it to work in multiplayer but i still get the not original content error.

For some reason when I don't see any kind of blood in FPS it tends to feel a little out of place. The first 3d FPS had blood so is not like a new concept or something. I have an easier time figuring out if I hit a target if I see some kind of blood and way easier time if I have a confirmed kill if they are on the floor with obviouse Fatal wounds. Cross hairs that that flash red or other HUD indicators when you get a kill I never get the feel for, even tho they are more accurate then assuming from visual clues.
If there is a BLood Patch I would sure want to get it.

Sure Mordern Weapons dont cause gory wounds or deaths at all, just good clean bloodless 21st century style wounds :|: ....Comment
