the world is disturbing my friend, but here we both are, living in it whether u like this or that. Blood in a video game is hardly a problem in context of this planets problems. What is disturbing is you calling my mind disturbed just because of blood in a freakin video game. I didnt invent it, (blood) its everyday life in and out of games. If you are feeble minded then thats your problem and ya shouldnt let a video game/TV dictate your actions. Pixilated ? This is not a Vic-20 were playing on here now or TV ping pong. Graphics have changed since the later 70's. Saying "BF2" is an arcade style video game. Well, maybe YOU can say that. Their is a taste (sensation) of what war is like in BF2. BF2 is not standing in one place, Pointing a toy gun at a monitor, and looking at a screen of the character you are, and heads popping up and down behind crates. You need to check what is arcade, simulation, and realism. Those pics make no different what you see in a game now a days.

You know we all say "Jeffrey Dahmer" was one sick dude. What was going through that mind of his "Blood and gore", pieces of body parts. Now, people here would love to see that in a video game. Me seeing a thread a thread like this, makes me think, their is a lot more people like "Jeffrey Dahmer"

By pixilated I meant they were created and contained in a computer, on a monitor, in the form of pixel. When a video game makes a blood spray it was never blood being sprayed from a human, it was never real human body parts missing. If you cannot tell the difference between those then you have no business playing these games. Arcade style does not only refer to big wooden boxes with monitors and one game that you have to pay to play, it also refers to a generalized type of game, one not bound by platform, accessories (plastic guns), etc. And those pics are very different than what I see in video games. Again, if you cannot tell a major difference between pics of ingame characters and those posted in this thread you have no business playing these games. As realistic as they look, the models in the game are very obviously fake.

Your Dahmer comments are way out of line. There is no correlations between the masses of gamers that want some blood and gore in their game and a real life sick, twisted killer. You sir, are an @sshole.

Gosh, people here stating BF2 is not even close to what is going on in Irag. That their is a huge difference what is going on in Irag, and what is going on in BF2

all i want is something along the lines of hl2 but i wouldn't mind some unreal tourny type gore either. my main thing which i think was already mentioned is it really helps with distance shots ex. sniping because you know you hit them. this was extremely useful in desert combat.

Their is some emotions. When we play BF2, we are actually shooting real people who happen to be virtual people online. When that actual virtual person gets killed, I am sure he/she gets ticked off, then responds out on a hunt....or just continues onto what he/she was doing but more aware.

So you think everytime you shoot someone in the game it affects them IRL?? You sir, are confused. Just because some guy shoots me in game doesnt mean i lose it. I might say something like "ahh ****, i shoulda done this" But guess what cowboy? If someone shoots me in real life, i'm gonna be astronomically more pissed than if it was a video game. Especially if they killed me. I would haunt them for eternity.

So i have to agree with a previous post on this thread.. there are alot more emotions involved in actually doing physical damage to a human, than to a pixelated "Avatar".

Case and point? Say you are walking down the street and you accidentally trip someone, someone you don't know. What do you do? You help them up and say you are sorry. You dont laugh and call them a n00b. (well most of you )

i would love gore and blood, with full arms blown off and everything, what we need is a super realism kinda thing, where weapons work properly and everything is very ' on edge' it would be great fun because your nerves would be up and u would know if someone shot you, your gonna die real quick unless u do something. add this into that realism mod.

definatly ... i loved that game tho... one of my favorite FPS

in real life... unless ur shooting certain parts or useing a .50 maybe i havnt seen to much blood... i mean especially chest shots... ur not gonna see any

theres enough hilary clintons in the world now anywho... adding blood would just make for cannon fodder

SoF 2 has to be the best FPS game I have ever played, at least multiplayer.
The damage modeling, leaning, and weapons selection were just great. I was in a SoF 2 clan for a long time. Still have it installed but haven't played it much since the clan broke up several months ago.

All I want is a patch to make the grey dust thet flies off when you're hit turn red. My comp is too POS to be able to run BF2 in addition to the physics engine that enables you to oblow up heads and arms and whatnot.
