Blood/Gore patch, you know we all want one

Alittle bit of blood would add realism. There also needs to be dimemberment when you're hit bu artillary. We all know what dead kids look like. We don't need to see it on this forum. Grow up!!

I agree, pics of bloody peeps that dont relate to this game arent exactly what i had in mind when i started this thread.......sounds like some liberal BS propaganda attempting to validate a point that cannot be validated......to the person who posted that point, do your homework, not everyone is as stupid as you when it comes to knowing what goes on, on this earth........simply put; I would like to see a bit more blood/gore in this game,
if you do not dont install the patch(when we get one/if we get one) its a 3rd party mod........only install if interested.....

I have problems with that.

Making and being a character "Chineses, Mec and USMC" (Human characters). Is no different from real life and a video game, PC game, simulation, realism. What we visualize, hear, feel can relate to real life. BF2 is good enough for what it is, although it needs work. And games like BF2 is going to get more realistic in the future. Blood and gore is one realism we can live without in games. 5 years from now we are going to laugh at BF2. "oh my...I used to play that game? lmao...look at the cheezy graphics." That trend will continue, no matter how realistic the graphics in the game gets. I find BF2 close enough to what war is like. And Virtual war is better than being in a real one. People that like to see blood and gore also body parts rip apart, fly off in a game makes me think, what kinda minds they have when they want to see that. Even in a game that they can get off at, then take screenshots. Something is very wrong with their minds, and I find very sick.

Granted graphics will improve and they should.. as technology gets deeper and more realistic.

I am aware that there will be a point sometime to where it will get realistic enough to say..whoa... this is sick.

However, the at the current status in technology its no where real enough for me to blow someones arm off and not stare in amazement at how cool that just was.

Call me sick call me twisted. But i for one can tell the difference between a video game and real life.

u dont know me, all u can do is assume, and for a fact you would be incorrect. If you forgot we are playing a war type game. Dont put a blood patch on your computer if u dont want it...simple. done. class dismissed.

If it is in a mod, I can understand and will go without it. But to have it in a patch (which is not going to happen), I will argue and say their is metal people playing this game. Real sickos who want to see blood and gore.

Adding a blood mod would at least give an added bonus indicator that you hit someone. The only time I've found the changing crosshairs useful is for long range as a sniper.

As for the gore, well, I could care less really. Neither for or against that one.

We are playing a video game to escape reality are we not? So however real ya make it is cool, however unreal ya make it is cool too, but its still not gonna change our real lives. so please dont go there with adolesent comparisons.

No, sorry, im not mentally unstable, not sane, sick, etc. just cause this is what I want to see in games. I'm an old gamer going back to Atari and Atari computers, commodore 64, 386s, 486s, Pentiums, Nintendos, Playstation consoles, and hopefully the new xbox(yet not that old in age) Doom, SOFII, stuff like that all had blood, even commodore 64's Forbidden forrest had cheesy 8-bit blood!!!!!!
(gotta miss those 1/2 hour game load times-not)

comon, its nothing new, and no, I didn't invent it. allthough i'd love to take the credit (al gore is father of internet!!!!!!! lol, guess he's never heard of DARPA---joke to those who actually know a bit about stuff)
if u dont want it, dont install the mod(yes a 3rd party mod).....it wont be in a patch cause of whinners as demonstrated over and over on this thread. EA is smarter than that in our over obsessive PC world that aims to destroy our democracy from within.
blood in the game would be cool, personally, I like the SOF II style, Maybe just a poof would be cool too, i would like better confirmation (besides the crosshairs) of a hit on an enemy and add a little bit of realism to this game. Hopefully some good modders will see this thread and make it happen and available for multiplayer.

That is to much, but close enough to what people like to see in a game. So, you guys do not see a problem with that how it can relate to reality? A fantasy, a desire to see. A thought of mind to have in game.

I'm gonna take a quick stab in the dark here and say that we have comfort in knowing that it's not happening to a real person, but a 3D model. When we see the same thing happening to a real person there's a lot more emotions involved.

i believe if you are dumb enuff to go out and do that to people in reality, yes, you have problems. Their is some emotions. When we play BF2, we are actually shooting real people who happen to be virtual people online. When that actual virtual person gets killed, I am sure he/she gets ticked off, then responds out on a hunt....or just continues onto what he/she was doing but more aware.
