So is killing with Artillery the best method to get points, because I am trying to get the commander badge at the moment.

Re: Guide to the Commander Mode (Basic)
Continously in the round, BF2 sums the points earned by each team from kills, flag captures, flag defends, heals, revives, resupply, driver special ability, etc., and divides that score by the number of players on each team. Points lost due to team kills, team damage, etc. do not factor in. So, for example, after 5 minutes Team 1 had earned 200 points and has 10 players on it, the CO score at that point would be 20. So, the CO doesn't get points DIRECTLY from a spotted enemy being killed, however, by spotting enemy he/she is helping their team make the kills versus being killed.Originally posted by Dr_GeorgieDo you get points if a soptted enemy gets killed after spotting him? I dont anyway. Any other methods of maximising your score?Leave a comment:

Re: Guide to the Commander Mode (Basic)
The only white vehicles I've ever seen on a commander scan are those being driven by the members of friendly squad(s) I have clicked on and highlighted in the squad listing. However, most times, especially if they know what they're doing, commanders don't get into vehicles. To do the best commander job for your team, the CO should be hidden in a protected area and have the commander screen open all the time.Originally posted by Sub_SaintSo, could one speculate that a "white" vehicle moving about the map is being occupied/driven by the opposing team's commander? I thought that a "white" vehicle indicated an enemy vehicle being driven by friendly forces but maybe that's not the case...Leave a comment:

And how exactly do people get experience? Were you born with the ability to command bf2 "built in"? I hate people like you who cannot give a little lee-way to others to give them time to learn. Mr "I'm-so-bloody-wonderfull"Originally posted by bl1ndAll i got to say to all the new guys on the game is
PLZ dont apply for commander if u dont know crap about it, ur ruining others gaming experience, because ur making the team lose, the commander is an important part of the game
Im number 180 in the leaderboard of commanders
Always use scan before artillery, dont bomb every place like crazy, be patient, wait
when the enemies are taking a flag and the flag turn white always try to bomb that placeLeave a comment:

Re: Guide to the Commander Mode (Basic)
Yeah you're right on that one, this part was typed long before I found out the concept of the commander points.Originally posted by jlspenceIn the FAQ, in the Commander and Squad commands section, it contains the following: "To accept the request, right-click the map and two choices, Accept and Decline, will appear. It's highly recommended that you accept requests as it helps your team and you get +1 in your commander score."
From what you've been saying BK, this isn't true, correct?Leave a comment:
