there is 2 ways you can stop a suspected cheat, if your an admin then the process is quite simple.. request a punkbuster screenshot... if your not an admin on your clans server and no admins there to request a pb screenie you can always do what we do on our BHD server.. if you suspect someone of cheating ask for a screen shot from the person you suspect with the dialog of the request, have them send the .png file to your website.. failure to carry out this request = ban. A bit long winded but it gets rid of those guys you suspect...

Glad you got streaming. Make sure that you get the AutoMBL set up so that it updates multiple times during the day. Depending on your server provider you may be able to set it up yourself, if not you can just submit a support ticket and they should set it up for you.

No what happens is when the server requests a SS of the hack the hack that messes with PB in a way knows when to turn itself off therefor when you take a SS of the suspected hacker IF he is hacking and his hack is PBSS proof and cleans the screanshot the screenshot you took will look 100% clean.

Any cheater we find will be banned from the clan, unless they get unbanned by evenbalance, it is sad to find two of our players were hackers, but these people must be disposed with as hacking is definitely NOT what the game is about. Since PB had this major update, I don't think any clan is safe, as the members we caught were as other people have said, not extremely good.

On another note, to attract hackers to a legitimate clan must mean we are doing something right on the battlefield :laugh:

But back to the seriousness of this, any hackers caught by our clan will be disposed of.

Look at the Public Ban list, recent bans 1313, Recent removals 3. Yeah, they lift them all the time.

I'm not just including this game alone since the post above stated over 50,000 in all games so thats what I included. The problem is most people just get frustrated and quit altogether instead of dealing with it.

I've been dealing with punkbuster for almost 5 years now over the course of probably 5+ games (running servers and such) Probably a fairly low number compared to some peeps but it always just causes more problems then helps. My SoF2 days bring me fond memories of server problems due to punkbuster lol.

VAC + a couple other programs loaded (zblock for example) was probably the best system for it. Although even then people get through all the time.
