But come on, just because you can't beat the Voss/Krylovers doesnt mean those guys are crap and this game suddenly sucks...its your emotions towards them, there will prob. be a weapon or more in every game that we all will get owned by.

Well, I know PB doesn't catch everyone, but look at the percentage of players they have caught cheating in the various games, BF2 0.45%, BF2142 0.20%, CoD 1.39%, CoD2 1.82%.

CoD 4 is going to own Battlefield, hands down.

BF2: I played the demo, armor whoring noobs = no fun.

BF2142: armor whoring noobs + PK/Krylov/Voss being the only thing anyone uses = no fun.

CoD4: Infantry combat, neat perks, better publisher, better looking (GFX wise), more balance (or so it seems in the SP demo), different game types (enough of titan and conquest! I want FFA and Search and Destroy!) and hopefully a much more mature community (less, LoLz I are macro'd C4+detornate+hop, i are win!zzor)

Exactly what I ment. I find the DEMO of CoD4 more polished then the entire bf2+ 2142 franchise. The "better GFX" part is obvious, as the game is using the latest technologies to look nice n shiny. And indeed, HOPEFULLY a much more mature community, or else I'll make em mature (!k helps a lot).

I would really LOVE to know how you an call the krylov overpowered and say **** all about the VOSS have you played this game more then a few rounds recently?

as for BF2 wow you must really suck to get killed like that and what kind of smack tard do you have to be to run into karkand allys at the start of the round thats just so freakin stupid.

bf2 is fun, is somewhat better then 2142 and you just got owned so you decide to bash it, G36E is an excuse, if you cant kill some one with one then you really need to rethink your strategy.

One: Krylov. First 2-3 bullets lack recoil, making an instant kill at any range quite easy. It has high damage, near perfect accuracy in single shot and a high RoF for close range fights. Only situation where Krylov is crap is in very long range fights.
I think the Krylov is even more overpowered than (or is it then? dunno) the Voss. Did you ever play a clan training? In my clantrainings, no matter how we arranged the teams, the PAC won. And it was not because of the stylish black camouflage.

Two: Bf2. I don't suck at Bf2. I usually am in top 10 (out of 32), using default weapons. Don't even try to justify nadespam. I don't even use nades. (My fav kit, AT, doesn't even have nades for crying out loud). I always try to attack from the flanks (that's what I ment with charging, not charging them head on - my bad I guess). How many times did you pop someone only to have him hop like I don't know what, poop out 4 nades while flying through the sky like a space rocket and blowing your entire squad up? One must be a very lucky and blessed individual when one never runs into this kind of 'soldier'.

Three: I don't use the Gay36E. The Gay36 is a gun for people with a SEVERE visual handicap, or for people with Altzheimer whose hands are too shaky to have anything close to a sturdy aim. Judging from your avatar, I guess your a Gay36 user. I tend to teabag them after I slam a bazooka round in their face... The damned thing is a PARODY on modern FPS games. I got owned.. by a nade. 10000 times in a row. So I bash it. Is that odd?

You expect to be able to kill infantry easy as an AT soldier?

Stop playing infantry only karkand/Jalalabad. Even the most hardcore of BF2 players despise the grenade gauntlet that goes down in those maps. The G36 is a bit unbalanced, I will agree. However, you shouldnt let one broken weapon (well, 2, if you count nadespam, which is all but nonexistant in real maps) ruin a game for you.

This thread is absolutely pointless, how can you compare an infantry combat only game to an infantry + vehicle game? Obviously there will be vehicle whoring, what the hell do you expect? Look at Halo, I don't play that game but it's pretty much like every other Battlefield game, but some how it's the most popular multiplayer FPS in the world as of today, for some odd reason.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I skimmed most of people's posts but it seems none seem to mention Battlefield: Bad Company. Sure, it is only Xbox only(which I have, Halo 3 and BF:BC ftw) but it will obliterate CoD4. The new game engine is also potential to all the future Battlefields coming for PC. Who knows, maybe Bad Company will end up like Halo 2 (hopefully quicker) and go on the PC as well.

In 2142 you can set personal goals for yourself like knifing the top 100, or becoming the #1 Clark/tank/whatever user in the world. In CoD4 you can't set any goals for yourself...you just play. Maybe if CoD had an individual stats system for each weapon so you can see who's #1 with each weapon it would be a little more interesting.

I think infantry combat might get boring after a while as people want vehicles, choppers, stats etc.

I definitely agree, after some conquest pwnage or what not, what will there be on CoD4, just more conquest and more and more... Don't you guys get a kick out of taking down a gunship with an A8-tiger? Or Running over 4 n00bs with an FAV? Seriously? Vehicles make the game FUN Vehicles w00t :yay::yay:
