          when they made it they were obviously thinking of the little soldiers health, breathing in all that smoke!! haha

          on a more serious note.....

          i use the smoke grenades a fair bit and yes they REALLY need a buff.

          thicker smoke, covering a larger area. only lasting 5 seconds or so

          that blue smoke looked about right, just needs the grey colour

            They should make em work like they do IRL. When you throw them it takes a while to deploy but when they do you cant see anything In tlike a 60+ meter space.

            Talk about a magnet for orbital strikes.

                In Conflict 2142, there used to be colored smoke grenades... and that was crazy O.o you couldn't see past it...

                    why not change them to flashbangs? blind people for like 5 seconds within a 15m radius or something?

                    then i bet more people would choose em over PK's or Rez claw

                      That or a larger area/longer lasting smoke.

                      And able to be resupplied.

                        Yes! They are an absolute joke, they should be like the smoke grenades off POE2 for BF2, or at least like Project Reality for BF2. The smoke grenades on POE2 come out in one go and cover a large area, and last for a canny decent time as well, while the smoke grenades on Project Reality the smoke 'oozes' out, lasting much much longer and giving a steady stream of smoke.

                            Wouldn't you you think that flashbangs would be obselete? Every soldier has some sort of Visor/HUD. With the technology they have, they would have reactive lenses and reactive ear mufflers.

                                Are the engineers of the future that clever? I mean, they have EMP technology that scrambles a foot soldier's HUD, but no one had the foresight to allow soldiers to remove their electronic visors.
