40 is fine for the clip size. I wouldn't mind 36, but that's the lowest I think it should be. Just be glad the Voss doesn't come with C-Mags.

Again i say, these are ocassions where i am down to 1 last clark shot and have to reload. I am a heavy clark user, so alot of the times the distances is the one that does me in. When i feel like playing half A$$ i use the Voss, i just run around and shoot like nothing, don't even bother with the zoom unless they are at a good distance. So I know how much effort can go into using this weapon. I used it before they *Tweaked* it and it's a big difference

And my shanking skills are not all that good, i should just try and take em down with the handgun :)

People are so dramatic when it comes to the voss. Quemical, if you were caught reloading by ANY weapon they would waste you.

If you scope in CQC with all the other weapons, its no wonder you think the voss is good. Scoping in CQC is a no-no fyi

Haven't really got anything against the Voss, i used it for a good long while before i started using the SCAR/Krylov exclusively

The ONLY reason the Voss is better than the Krylov and Baur at close ranges is that it has a larger clip. The Krylov and Baur have 6 and 5 kills max in their clip, it's just that people are used to using higher clip weapons and freak when they see their Baur at 11 rounds. I reload my Baur at 7 rounds... it reloads near a full second fast than any other AR, and 7 rounds is a safe 1 - 2 kills for me, as headshotting like it's your job is a necessity to proper Baur usage. The Voss better than the SCAR-11 in CQB, statistically, because the SCAR-11 has a 0.4 second kill time.

The Voss and Krylov, in CQB, kill in 0.3 seconds assuming good aim (5 torso shots each), while the Baur kills in 0.33. That's like 100 clicks by the time you can say "lol." Basically, 0.03 seconds is basically completely insignificant in the TTK's of the Baur, Krylov, and Voss. The SCAR-11 makes up for its slower kill time by being, IMO, more reliable and circumstantially forgiving than the other rifles. It's not as hard to pick up as a Baur, it can burst fire at all ranges with out the insane damage drop of the Voss and Krylov, and you have the heavy influence of underestimation on your side. I'm a devoted Baur shooter myself, but in scrimmages and matches on promod, I use the Baur on PAC and the SCAR-11 on EU (most people do Krylov and Voss).

The reason everyone dies to the Voss all the time is because, hate to break it , but EVERYONE uses the Voss. It's not the gun's fault, it's just that a lot of people find it easy and fun to use. All the assault rifles, in function with a skilled player whose put in practice, perform equally well. The Baur rocks in close range, just watch your ammo and don't spray because a Voss, Krylov, or SCAR-11 have larger clip sizes. The Voss and Krylov can hold their own at mid range, even if falling short of the Baur and SCAR-11 at mid range due to the latter weapons' accuracy and smaller damage drop off. The SCAR-11 isn't bad, and it isn't a jack of all trades -- that would be saying the SCAR-11 is average at all ranges. In fact, the SCAR-11 is excellent at all ranges, but it's just not quite as good as a Krylov or Voss in CQB and it's not quite as good as a Baur from mid range or at picking off proned supports or snipers.

I'll end this by saying that all the AR's functional VERY close marginally. The biggest margin of difference is that the SCAR-11 and Baur work noticeably better at close-medium to long ranges, but still, it's not by that much. It's all a matter of preference, because at the end of all things AR = AR.

I'll end by saying Baur > your life.

Good to see more and more people are getting the picture as far as the AR hierarchy goes. None is better than any other, they all are suited for different roles, and they are not in my opinion currently unbalanced.

I'm not certain I've ever been called a voice of sanity before. Ever. That made my day.

Trying to argue with some of these people on both extremes of the argument (omgvossistehnub and omgvossistehrox) is akin to clubbing a baby seal. It might be fun in a visceral fashion, but it offers no sport or resistance.

LOL Call me a noob, I use the Voss!! When Im 35-3 with it its hard to let go. Though I can do equally well with just about any gun if I play the gun the right way. Ive more Voss deaths than anything else but I still think, If a noob is holding it and Ive already got him 3-4 times what do I care if he gets me once? I take Voss users to school.....with my Voss.....sometimes I pick up a clark but I still prefer the Voss.

I actually started using it for the sights it has, I like/liked it better than the other sights. Little red dot, pretty accurate in 5 round bursts and has the capacity to save your a** in a multiple contact situation, whats not to like?? If being a good player and using a gun that Im efficient to a fault with is being a noob, Im a noob. Your still dead though.

By the time I see a Voss user I hear a burp of gunshots and I am looking at the class selection screen. :|:

Oh yeah, to those people talking about how the Krylov is so much better than the Voss, it isnt. Look at the stats. It just feels better. Take Counter-Strike for instance. I can repeatably kill an AK/M4/AWP user with a 5-7, Compact, or MP5. That sure as hell doesnt make any of those guns better than a rifle.
