I didn't see why NS should have only sold on EA Link

So they can put spyware or tracking/tracing/monitoring software on your computer.

The only way I would get the booster is if it added more unlocks or passive abilities to improve assault, and if I could use those abilities on Camp G / Cerbere.

I'd have to pay another friend to get the unlocks for me out of laziness =)

i liked NS for awhile but the shiny'ness wore off

i think if the made something that was more better surroundings rather than OMG SNOW! maps and new weapons in the form of GUNS rather than toys =P



well this is untrue since well iv been to loads of shops in the Uk like HMV, Virgin Game, and Pc World, AND all of them sell the booster pack in a case (no cd just a case with the code inside to put into EA link)

Ok, I am almost positive that one of the little news bits on the EA Battlefield website said something along the lines of a new conflict in the Arabian Peninsula, and I thought that was a reference to a new booster pack. I never really read the detail on it, just saw the headline. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Maybe it was just a reference to that new map?

A second booster !! Interesting. To add my two cents about an expansion pack. I really really hope that the expansion pack will be full integrated into the main game. I hated the fact that you had to switch games ( more or less ) to play BF2SF. I could've been so great playing BF2 maps on a server mixed with BF2SF maps later along with EF and AF. Too bad there where many unsolved bugs in EF. Short example, the almost impossible accomplishment shooting down a Euro Fighter, Landing bug with the TIGER HAP etc..

Actually hints of a second booster can be found buried in the BF2142 files itself. Covered on a German BF2142 website, they revealed very interesting unfinished content indeed such as files named...

Route 66

With pieces of models accompanying them like a column suspiciously like the Golden Gate Bridge, and a heavily modified Titan (United States model titan?).

Whether such content would ever see the light of day remains to be seen, would be nice though. If EA/Dice packaged all this content and the NS content together into one package for store shelves (much like the BF2 Booster Collection), I'd most likely buy it.

an expansion that integrates like the booster would be cool, though you would need to sell it in stores. Yes i know that some people are able to buy the booster in stores but it isnt available everywhere which is part of the reason for a smaller takeup because around 10 bucks for a booster is spare change lol i spend that on lunch at work and ns is more than worth its cost

NS is there on the same shelf as 2142, it still is, and has been since it first came out.

It did was sold in stores but it just included a nice note with a code for you to download from EA link.

dont wanna waste time with a full blown expansion.. well if they didnt waste time making NS and now some other crappy lil booster pack, and made a full blown one, im sure alot more people would buy it, who knows it might be better then Vanilla.. just look at SF for BF2, anyone who has it knows it is without a doubt the greatest battlefield game Dice has ever produced !!!

im not saying the maps are crap there good really good infact

im just saying that im getting bored of all the snow :p

all the maps are very well designed and stuff and kudos to the creators

i just want more maps that are city influenced and aint got snow everywhere =P like the last remaining skyscraper and its EU v PAC that wud be awsome =P bet it wud lag to F$%K tho :cry:
