SCAR getting a buff is a good thing, but it won't change 80% of high-ranking assaults from using the Voss.

No, this will make camp G the way it was SUPPOSE to be.... instead of player being cheap and just podding all over the map. And IMO will make it better as the firefights will be back the way they where suppose to be and actually breaking thru undetected will MEAN something now.

Agreed, although I like pod surfing, it does break the game...

couldnt they give the assault gren maybe 10x its current effect? essentially a thrown ids with smoke that lasts for 30 seconds?

i dont seem to get killed by the voss anymore, are you sure anyone actually uses it?

 Play almost any conquest city map, you will find all sorts of people who love the voss.

They should make the Smoke Grenades have more dense to them, you can still see right through it. is ****ing stupid. also adding colors wouldn't be a bad idea. making it so each squad member has its distinctive color. and make it usefull cause that cheap *** gray smoke sucks

I've heard all sorts of bad things about how lousy the smoke grenades are, but from my experience, they really aren't that shabby.

You get two of them (as opposed to one in BF2), they detonate microseconds after touching ground, and as long as you stand behind the smokescreen (as opposed to in the middle of it), you can't be seen. But if DICE wants to buff them, by all means, please do. Anything to make them more viable a choice for an item slot.

It's not really that the nadar is terrible, but it's just simply not good enough to justify picking it over defibs/rockets/herzog. Defibs and rockets are a staple to what seems like 90% of the assaulters out there, and you'll get the occasional Clarkian going assault that will pick the Herzog with the defibs, or the one who wants to play straight up assault and picks both rockets and Herzog. Those three items are just so useful that it's hard to ditch one of them IFO the nadar.

Note that you do not NEED the diffuser, you can just go up to the MM or RDX/APM ( you have to be Engy for MM or Recon for the other two) and press "G". You will pick up the item! You may have to deploy one of your own to make room for it. It's a great way to resupply if you are at a silo and there are enemy MM's down, just pick theirs up, then drop them again and they are now "friendly". Same for RDX and APMs, I believe. Diffuser, meh.

Since when can you pick up enemy mines? I can imagine your teammates appreciate you walking away with their stuff... I think I would have to TK you after watching you do that to me.

Yess! Exellent, as they ARE described to be used as an identifier aswell as a smoke screen. Im thinking Blue for your team and Red for the enemy for now so it doesent get too complicated.

                              • Fixed an exploit that would allow commanders to call Orbital and EMP strikes before it had fully recharged.
                              • The Clark RDX Shotgun can now detonate other nearby explosives.
                              • EU Assault Rifle recoil and deviation have been slightly reduced.
                              • Bianchi and Shuko LMGs recoil reduced.
                              • Clark Shotgun rate of fire increased.
                              • Added an autosave to kit customisations. After you customise a kit and spawn in with that kit, the customisation will be automatically saved until you change it and spawn in again. Note that you must spawn in with a particular kit for it to be saved.
                              • Added a new map, Highway Tampa.

Creative players found ways around this, through means of which most forums readers are aware.

We made an early fix in a patch to prevent free flying pods, of all varieties, but some control of the drop pods from beacons was left. As pod surfing becomes more common it's effect on 2142 is being felt. We feel that pod surfing negative impact on gameplay for all players and removing it will improve the combat experience for all players.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I'm also behind the idea of buffing smoke grenades. They're the most under appreciated/underused unlock IMO.
