I used JoyToKey myself, mapped mouseto joystick axii and used the stick to look around the cockpit. Pretty much the same way. Fly around the edges of the map, flying on my side, at a high altitude.

for anyone that has a track IR system you can also map it to only go active with a certain button press, i would map it to a joystick button then have the head tracking emulate the mouse, you could hit the free look button on your stick, do a quick scan with your head and then release the button to go back to controlled flight, now i never got this to work right in BFBC2 but it could in BF2. not sure if this will work in BF3 but I'm sure someone will figure it out and lets face it, any advantage a player has in locating a enemy jet, chances are they will will the dogfight or at least have a significant advantage in doing so.

IIRC in BF2 the jets started getting unstable around 500m and were uncontrollable after 800m.

Hopefully the height limit will be increased to 2000m. I wonder what the draw distance for planes is. It will be cool to see planes all the way across the map.

I just watched the Caspian Border trailer and O M G, after seeing it I was queezing in my boots. Seriously there are still COD fanboys who refuse to admit that this game is gonna blow the $hit out of COD. I mean, even if I hated COD (in which I seriously do) I still appreciate it's... it's... it's er zombie mode yeah there you go. But seriously give credit where credit is due please!

@RedInk: Don't you think you're being a little harsh? Sure MW3 will essentially be another recycled CoD4, but it's still Call of Duty, and this is Battlefield. You've got fast paced infantry combat on one hand, and large scale combined arms on the other. Apples & Oranges wouldn't you say?

Well sure shifty, but you see im surrounded by so many oranges that have nevrr tried my apple and assumes that my apple is rotten. And now that the oranges has a worm crawling and eating is core dry the oranges still refuse to to show its overfed inside. You see now shifty :)
