It's a pretty good game for a free one.

I dislike the visuals though, it's hard too see people far away, they shouldn't be as tiny as they are.

Well, it's just bf2 but everything feels stupidly slow, there is no prone, the weapons layout is dumb (for US you start out with an RPG as engineer...), heck there is a button that actually looks behind for you, literally looking at the front of your soldier looking behind you.

It's just, a really, really, bad bf2.

"It's Beta" doesn't excuse the horrible movement and lag issues I've seen. That's Alpha stuff.

I'm afraid it's more like Theta stuff for Dice. You can never be quite sure whether they're still going to care when the game is at that stage tho

Hah, that's when PC gaming was doing well, and they had many hired workers just for testing purposes, and more developers to debug.

Okay, my clanmates somehow convinced me to try it.

Well I played it for about 15 minutes. Now I will never touch it again, uninstalling as I type...

This is the worse BF game I've ever played period.

Few protruding issues:

1) Graphic glitch on intro where I can spin my soldier round and round with textures all messed up.

2) Extremely slow map load.

3) Cannot access options in game.

4) Everything is agonizingly slow.

5) Graphics is just bad...very bad.

6) Soldiers look like marionettes

7) Guns feel like it's made of plastic.

I can list a few more... But I won't since I am not going to touch it again...

Well it isn't designed for the current PC Battlefield crowd. It's designed for people who only consider themselves casual gamers at best; they're not going to buy a full priced Battlefield game, but they'll download the free game, play it, and throw in a few dollars on micro-transactions. It has it's niche, and I'm perfectly fine with them having made this game, since as far as I'm concerned, it isn't marketed to me in the first place.

That said, I'm probably not even going to ever bother it. I doubt anyone here will actually enjoy playing the end product.

I actually enjoyed playing CoD4 when it was in beta, as well as BC2, and a lot of the other betas I've participated in. P4F is absolute garbage.

Like Jake was saying, it is not aimed at those already hooked on the BF games. I am sure what they are hoping is that they will pull in those that have never played a BF game and it will hopefully get some of those to continue on and purchase their other games.
