Like Jake was saying, it is not aimed at those already hooked on the BF games. I am sure what they are hoping is that they will pull in those that have never played a BF game and it will hopefully get some of those to continue on and purchase their other games.

It's still aimed for hardcore gamers who play BF lines seriously to stop, chillout and play on a free game, where they dont need to go all bonkers conkers, but they still will.
Hardcore gamers tend to have no life, lets be quite frank? ...
I'm a casual gamer, i play a variety of fps and sports games, probably about 2hrs a day sometimes 3 or 4 hours if i'm really hucked.

Thats not casual at all haha. I'll go weeks without playing anything sometimes.

And just because you say its aimed at people who are "casual" doesn't mean the game should be total crap.

I was really hoping to get the Karkand experience back in my blood for Play4Free, but it just ruined it.

The game is slow, and the bugs and glitches are abundant.

It's a good game, but I get crazy lag and rubber-banding, even on a close server.

I was curious as to why they said that "hardcore" gamers would take a break and play this. I don't consider myself "hardcore" but I do play other games from time to time and really won't try this one again until after the beta, I wasn't impressed with the beta so far and I've been in other betas for many other games. Oh well, here is looking forward to BF3!!!!!

Because a lot of people tried out BFHeros.

Also, "hardcore" is just a marketing term in that sense. There really is no way to say who or who is not a hardcore gamer.

BF Heros was just plain weird to me. It was way too much like a cartoon to me. Granted, all video games have a sort of cartoon feel, but BF Heros was a stretch, I didn't last long on that one.

Really? Because all the information released and how the game looks makes me think they were making something other than TF2.

And I would rather play this than reinstall and patch BF2. I may be the only one brave enough to say this, but I know I am not the only one.
