It's like a new game, without having to learn the controls and have your *** kicked until you get the hang of it.

Great patch, well done all those that worked on it at DICE. I think that those that described the coders working on the patch as 'monkeys' should eat their words.

I second that.

I am totally delighted with the patch. Aside from the piles of new levels to be played (on busy servers with a rotation of a large varied number of maps), we have now finally got proper full screen support.

Got to say, the game and the new levels in particular look fantastic on 1650*1080 with 8FSAA!

The game is now basically broken, freezing after alt+tab is a great pain in the arse.

Turning off anti aliasing will fix that problem.

K, infantry combat is better but IO still sucks balls.
Armor and Euro maps suck balls, Highway Tampa is the only good one.

What's wrong with the AF and EF maps? Specifically the AF maps are great IMO.

REALISTIC BLACKHAWK GUNS FINALLY! Or almost realistic, at least.

Infantry Only will always be a terrible experience. Even in PR it's not that good. I friggin hate Strike at Karkand...

I played my first 40 min or so of BF in a while... The Blue Pearl map is alright; almost a Karkand though. Got gold with 100+ points LOL.

Then I had to play a round of Dalian... The helicopter controls overall seem to be a bit stiff... But I still managed solo, reverse the rape towards the other side, and went undefeated before being kicked for God knows what. It seems like it is harder to steer the TV, but I felt better hitreg. Was playing with 60 ping, it felt like 30. AA is harder to deal with, but not a total disaster.

Felt good to be back.

A few of us are still around. I made a decision to use only Littlebirds on maps that offer them, so others can have fun in the TV dispensing vehicles...

The only maps I like are Road Rage and Highway Tampa. Dunno what pack RR belongs to, but others are just bland.
