I asked an EA person in the EA help chat thingie and they said : "there may be a sequal to 2142, but im not allowed to tell you."

I certainly hope there is a sequel to 2142. Would be so epic on the Frostbite 2 engine. What I really want to see, though, is the kind of variety in vehicles, weapons, and gadgets in a 2142 sequel that we have in BF3.

For example, it would be awesome to have heavy tanks and light tanks, the heavy walkers from 2142 and light/ scout walkers, etc. And a plethora of different weapons would be a nice improvement.

However, any way you slice it, 2142 with destruction and full view distance (no fog of war) would be awesome.

They'll probably drop the entire 21.. name. I Imagine they'll make a futuristic game with similarities to 2142 like titan mode. They really need something new, there should be aircraft that can fly fast like jets but hover like choppers when wanted.
