That list was made a long time ago and isnt up to date anymore. Thats why no BF3.

Also, the list isnt accurate. DICE never made Heroes and they were working on MoH. The same people that made Heroes is working on Play4Free.

Lol nice thread rev. Judging by community response/sales they would really have to milk the modern warfare to be forced to branch out beyond present day and WWII. Personally I'd like to see a futuristic shooter more around Crysis level, not as far as 2142, or perhaps even WWI. It would really be interesting if they made a vietnam type game of the Korean War, hell it'd educate some people about it if they accurately depicted the theatres fought in.

Haven't been playing 2142 for almost a year now. Moved to another place lNovember 2009 for some weeks with terrible internet access, way to low ping to play. As I experienced before it's difficult to get into the flow when being away for weeks, so I never got the urge to get back, except for some very brief moments where I noticed that very few servers and friends were online, if ever. Forum is almost dead, so RIP 2142 for me.

It's sad, I've been playing 2142 since 2007 and although I haven't been playing as much as I wanted, it always gave me enormous pleasure. No other game, gave me the same satisfaction as 2142. It had everything. All new games I played I couldn't help comparing with 2142 and they all failed. COD4,5,6,7 all nice for a few weeks then became utterly boring. MoH same same. Black Ops, total failure. BC2, okay but not in the same league.

Therefore haven't been playing FPS games as much as before, far from it.

Maybe I'm waiting for a game that probably never come?

2143 would be an easy buy for me, got 800-900 hours of fun outta 2142. It was one of the most balanced games too bad it died off before it should've due to no final patch, but alot of work for Dice on other newer titles which I can't agrue with, I'd rather have new game experiences.

Well, I always see the devs mentioning something 2143ish in their twitters. With all so many games set in middle east current gun poop 2143 would be a nice breath of fresh air.

Can you imagine 2143 running on FB 2.0 even though we haven't seen it much in action yet. It wouldn't suprise me much at all if the did announce 2143 after BF3 has been released.

How long had BF2 been out before DICE announce 2142?
