The only people that should compain about rockets are those that like to camp. Rockets have a set path and destination. If you see them comming at you step back or move out the way it's not that hard to dodge rockets. Teams that spam them usually don't last very long before they realize it'll get them nowhere.

in a 64 man full server, PK rockets can easily dominate by spamming. i've gone numerous times in camp G 64 man servers where i used nothing but PK rockets and racked up some ridiculous 40-1 kdr rounds.

Not easy to dodge if they come atcha from 4 different corners... and yeah they're the ultimate noob weapon, but so are the nades, krylov and scar.

krylov and scar arent noobisch. they require more skill than the voss, and to use them very well you need a lot of skill. and nades can be nooby, but that depends how you use your nades.

people saying "rockets are for getting rid of people hiding behind stuff" tend to be people that run around out in the open in a rush to go nowhere all impatient and with bad eyesight.

Everything is n00b in this game, period. Krylov, Scar, Voss, Baur, APMs, Clark, Sniper Rifles, the handguns. Whatever the enemy kills you with, it makes it n00b.

I don't see how...... rockets are a tool no different than nades or a defib. The rockets come out when they are needed. Everyone has the same tools in this game it's all a matter of how you use them. People that over use them tend to be the ones that fail. Balance is key.

I'm sorry, but that's a total myth that some self confessed l33t player invented long time ago and everybody is parrotting it now. It's much easier to kill with the krylov than with a voss, even with a smaller clip, scar requires a little more skill. Bit who carez, a kill is a kill is a kill..

When it comes to skill I'm talking about snipers like Blind_Wuzi (although I knifed him twice in one round), gunship drivers like CTFalcon or knifers like Moose, Slaney and Timsad, that's what I call skill...

people that call pk's noobish are infact noobs themselves. plain and simple.

Every weapon in this game is there for a purpose. And obviously the PKs are doing there job because they seem to make alot of you angry because you weren't quick enough to see the big *** rocket flying in your direction.
once a rocket is fired it follows a straight line (most of the time, curve the rockets ) and has a set destination until detination. which means once it leaves the end of a gun its path is decided. all you have to do is NOT stare at the pretty sparkly thing heading in your direction and move your *** and that's it, you survived. nothing more nothing less.

and geez it takes 2 of them to kill you anyway. anyone who is dumb enough to NOT move out of the way after the first hit and then call rockets noobie should really take a GOOD LONG HARD look at themselves.

The point isn't that if you kill someone with rockets or get killed by someone with rockets, then you are a noob. The point is that noobs tend to rely on certain weapons and unlocks because they are easier to get kills with than others. The widespread use of these weapons as a crutch in pub servers earns them their reputation for being noob.

Personally, I'd like to match my ability to shoot well against other players. It gets annoying when every time you try to go head to head with a guy at a distance of more than 30 meters, you automatically get rocket spammed. I don't play this game to run away from rockets the entire round.
