I wonder what the PK leaderboard would look like if they were able to get it working. Since you can kill like 4 enemies with 4 clip if they are all huddled together.

For those of you who don't know, the PK rockets and the Herzog were part of the leaderboards but they couldn't get them to work, everyone was stuck at 0.

I find the rockets usefull in a few situations where either grenades have run out, or your team mates who are attacking alongside you are worse than "pants on head retarded" and you need to clear, or divert enemy forces for a few seconds

I don't give a thought to whether their reputation is nooby or not. I use them if I need to. If I have an ammo box next to me, I'll be happy to start spamming.

also if you think it is unfair that someone has cover it is your fault not his.

well them wouldn't you also think it is unfair to use PK rockets isn;t that also your fault and not his?

after all they don't sneak up on you. they are pretty easy to spot and easy to dive out of the way. if you keep your eyes open you won't be killed that much by them.

and some times the option of flanking is not possible at all, say for instance the toll/harbour and central/ruins stale mate which occurs and gib. sometimes there is no other way to clear a gap in those other than PKs. you can try and show your "Ub3r 1337 Sk1lL" and shoot your way through but you are just going to end up being sorrunded by 5 enemies with no ammo in your gun.

It almost seems like people CBA to crouch and burst fire anymore and would rather just launch egregious amounts of rockets at you instead. It's nooby in the sense that people can use them as a crutch and therefore not have to try as hard to get kills when it's far easier to just spam rockets at anything that moves instead of l2aim.

I see your point and raise you these mildly comical sentiments:

1. Be courteous to everyone, friendly to no one.
2. Decide to be aggressive ENOUGH, quickly ENOUGH.
3. Have a plan.
4. Have a back-up plan, because the first one probably won't work.
5. Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
6. Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun whose caliber does not
start with a "4."
7. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Ammo is
cheap. Life is expensive.
8. Move away from your attacker. Distance is your friend.
(Lateral & diagonal preferred.)
9. Use cover or concealment as much as possible.
10. Flank your adversary when possible. Protect yours.
11. Always cheat; always win. The only unfair fight is the one you lose.
12. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber,
stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived.
13. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating your intention to shoot.

Don't bend that beyond PK rockets; y'all know what I mean.

i voted not nooby but noobs give them a bad name. It is pretty annoying when some guy is trying to rocket you from 10 feet away when 2 bullets would do the job just fine.

Just like any other weapon in the game it has a purpose. It's the assaults answer to those pesky snipers that like to climb on monorails. :)

I don't know why people complain about them. They are loud as hell, you can see them coming from a mile away and they can be out run.

If you choose to huddle around a bunch of guys camping somewhere and get killed by PK rockets then it's your own fault for being a sitting duck. :nod:

I can't stop laughing when someone panics and trys to kill you with their PK rockets from a couple meters away. They just don't seem to realize that the PK rockets only explode at 20m^.

Actually I was playing with herzog today (as usual) and got revived with rockets and didnt know it so this guy pops in front of me so I pull out the herzog and I shoot him and a dud rockets goes like 6 meters and kills him... that made me :laugh:

i picked the third choice, it's a rather ridiculously over powered weapon for a class that already has medkit, defib, and best assault rifles. it's basically the noob tube rocket launcher that you get 4 per clip and fire with deadly precision.

that said, i've used it a lot and abused it's noobness.

I think the real question is: Do rockets add depth to the game, or are they merely a nuisance that become easily abused?

I agree with Minmaster. Too much to add to an already powerful Assault kit. Put it in another kit for incentive so people can use something other than assault. Or just get rid of it.

I thought it was ridiculous when i saw the NS unlock that added another rocket to the clip.

Rockets are not over powered, you just get to many shots with them. It takes 2 rockets to kill someone but you get a 3rd I find to make sure the person your shooting at gets killed. The NS unlock just makes me cringe because of the spammage on public... Like there arn't enough Voss's spraying.
