We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Agreed, he can go ahead and start a e-penner war with someone else, lol. Vehicles are fun and add to the game as I said there could be a server option to disable them.
Ok, he was simply stating that he wished to keep the gameplay simple - not to completely remove all vehicles. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I myself wouldn't mind vehicles... for public servers whatever - but it would also be a numbing down of the game. Idk, its a mixed view.
However - Evantek, Defekt has done some crazy stuff (You can check out his videos... whatever) and I believe he held a spot on a CEVO-A team last season. What he is saying that there is a reason that - even though games like 1.6 and Source are still being played because they are simple, but very difficult. Making it appealing to the players who dedicate themselves more time to winning - in some cases it's pretty much a sport (CGS - dead... but still an example), where large amounts of money are at stake.
The newer games tend to just add more little things that make the game easier for the "noobies" so that they can say - "Yea martyrdom! I love that - gets me free kills." Obviously frustrating the player who gets blown up by that grenade - but has over 500+ hours of gameplay logged, while the martyrdom user has say... 10.
What he also said was that he doubts your competetive experience too - as would I when someone talks about people camping in S&D, talking about your k/d ratio, and the fact that you destroy everyone... Doesn't sound like someone who has played in CAL since season 1 tbh.

Yeah, ugly...like how you've permanently soiled the "hot women" thread in the OT section. :rawr

It's just all people do these days in COD4, especially when it's something differentthen S&D.
*Sigh*... Thanks for selective reading you missed some words. I read your arguments and I don't have to agree with them however I had my opinion and decided to share it, without bashing someone having a different opinion or judging their competitive experience based on nothing at all.

Nothing but a simple error in a hastily written exerpt, and you may want to look at who is doing the "bashing".
I do agree that UO was great with vehicles, but as I said, it wasn't one of the "core" Call of Duty games. It was fun, but the early Call of Duty's remained most popular with CoD and CoD2 - the games where competition flourished.
I have to call wrong on that one sir. :) A lot of people considered CoD2 a downgrade from CoD:UO. And yes, I'm referring to the 'competitive' scene as that was when I was playing 35-40 hours a week competitively. And yes, I had a job and a full-time college schedule.
Well, then why are people still playing CoD2 competitively over CoD:UO?
I'm asking that legitimately, not sarcastically, so don't take it the wrong way.
Because it's older. People keep moving on. AND, a lot of people went to CoD2 b/c CoD:WW was not to their liking. They didn't want the modern stuff in CoD4, so that was the next viable option going back in the history of the CoD series.
CoD2 got old kind of fast to me. It just wasn't there for the longevity for me as a pub player or competitive player. My opinion I know as my dad still loves the game. I can see myself playing CoD:WW for a long time, but obviously, some people don't like this game as much either, whether their reasons are legit or purely to be 'cool'.
And as I point out, I'm no longer a competitive player, I'm a pub player, so my reasons for playing certain games are now different than they were before. Plus, S&D is too boring for me nowadays. I used to play OBJ all day, every day for MoHAA and there were only 4 maps lol. I now don't feel like waiting around or dealing with the bs of campers and the 'elite' and their e-pen0rs. I really loved playing competitive CTF in CoD:UO and for that mode, it was MUCH better in CoD:UO compared to CoD2.
