Ever meat some hotshot kid saying "Holy ****, I'm CAL Main, look at how awesome I am and how big my **** is." Just tell him to back it up on LAN, and 9 times out of 10 it'll shut them up.

Sounds familiar. I am a LAN attendee as well. I consider myself fairly mediocre at best, but I fair pretty well at LAN parties.

Disappointing to hear that about CS.

But It is very different with BF2 - At least in my area. Very little hackers. + In the ladders and leagues around here, hackers aren't that hard to identity by watching the battle recorder.

What is annoying is what the BF2 community has become. Every vgood player is assumed a hacker pretty frequently.

I agree with this guy:

Some people do use aimbots, I will give you that- some are more subtle than others- but you have to remember there are also a lot of good players out there who people tend to assume cheat just because of the "hacker culture" which seems to have taken over the BF2 community.

Good for a few LOL's. But it gets tiring and the kick votes are annoying.

Some of you don't realize calling hax in-game and abusing the good players isn't always something easy to shrug off and can ruin our fun or desire to play at all. But hopefully there is not too many of those type of players here anyway...

I have been accused of hacking multiple times, JET/HELO/INFANTRY I just laugh it off. BF2 players are quick to call hacks these days.

So true. I guess sometimes I also forget how much good players must make others rage just by playing normally and fair, still hard to laugh it off when its so constant every time you actually TRY.

So it results in me playing in other ways often (like sniper) less hack calls / abuse / votes generally with sniper. Unless using SVD or Type88 of course.

Anyway, what sensitivity do you use? Yours looked a lot faster than Wookie Hintaaki (sp?).
I heard that a sensitivity of about 100fps was what he used.
I play medic with 200fps (2000fps / 0.10 sensitivity = 200fps)
However I believe this is far too quick for your kind of sniping. Is this correct?

Also is it right that this style does not work well against very good players?

Yes for some reason the SVD is a hackers weapon, they just love to use that thing.

When ever i use it , it makes me feel like a hacker, or that am doing something wrong, just because i have seen that many hackers use it.

Probably because it's semi-automatic and when using the scope the bullets will go exactly where you (or the aimbot) aim.

Last hacker I saw was using the SAW (c wut i did thar? ), and he didn't even try to hide it. He'd drop to the ground, fire into the fog for about a second, get four kills, then stand up and keep walking.

On the bright side, people on our own team were voting to kick him so at least there's some integrity left in BF. :salute:

Ya rly - Partly why I barley play COD5 atm. I'm sure I will go back to it at some point though :)

Hintakaari uses the lowest sensitivity of all the pro snipers I know.

His sensitivity is currently set at: 750dpi @ 0.1 BF2 Sensitivity.
My sensitivity is currently set at: 2000dpi @ 0.2 BF2 Sensitivity.

We both use Logitech G5 2007 Model.

I have been lowering mine gradually over the years and will probably continiue to lower it. Lowering my sens has improved my accuracy and speed once I got used it it.

As for not working against very good players...Well yes it is often less likely to register a hit on really good players because they move around constantly like rabbits and bf2 hitboxes and hitregistration isn't great.

However I made sure I killed some vgood players in my latest vids

Yep that and also the fact you can fire it so fast if you know what you are doing.

Won't the bullets of any gun go where you want when you are useing a aimbot, even a pistol, the bullets are going to go just where you want.:laugh:



PS, I play at 750dpi 0.6 BF2 sensitivity.

I'm pretty sure the aim bot doesn't make up for bullet deviation. There's no bullet deviation with the snipers and since SVD is semi-automatic it makes sense why it's the aimbotter's weapon of choice.

The SVD/Type 88 is the most efficient sniper rifle. One headshot is a kill just like all the others, but it's semiautomatic and has more rounds both in the magazine and total.

If I was an aimbotter, I'd definitely be using it over the bolt actions.

Most aimbotters need a pretty long fall from a tower block or such like.
