Right. And that's EA's job, not ours. I'm not saying he is, but pred seems like the type who would look for padding servers and report them to EA. (And even if he isn't, I still don't know why people waste their time doing that)
It depends a lot on what you call padding. Playing Karkand I/O 64 player 24/7 and doing nothing but spamming nades and resupplying other nade spammers, is that padding?
I don't see anything wrong in pistol knife servers, I've played a few here and there back in the day and they can be loads of fun. Good practice too for learning how to use those two weapons and then bring it to a real game for a humiliating kill
padding rep points is probably the only understandable reason to stat pad imo. Everything else is a big "why?".
Why do people even care about other people padding? They dont affect you in any way whatsoever. If they wanna waste their time getting e-medals and e-badges why not let them?

EA Doesn't even care anymore to be quite honest, I have a friend who is an assistant on the EA Development team and he told me he overheard all the BF2 devs saying they dont give a **** about padding anymore and they only will reset if the reporter wastes their time and fills a screenshot/report.
Not to jump aboard the bandwagon, but just having 1 server out of a sample of... say, 1,000 or more, in no way proves your point (as Wizrd already stated.)
Last time I played, about 3 months ago, there were still plenty of ranked K+P servers which (maybe not to you, but to the rest of the community) are there to help players rank up quickly. This is also known as stat-padding, which is wrong.

IF thats 1000 Pistol and Knife Servers, Im Bill Gates. Half of those listed arent pistol and knife and are Karkland I/O and nearly all of them are empty, 99%.
