Why do you hate stat padders?

Assuming you do, I want to hear your reasons.

1) They're not interfering with your normal game play. A hacker/glitcher/aimbotter would, but stat padders are usually confined to their own stat-pad servers.

2) They don't affect your stats. Your rankings sure, but not your K/DR ior SPM or anything. Just your position on the leaderboard.

I only hate them when they're doing it on the servers that I'm playing on. If they're doing it on knife and pistol servers, then I really couldn't care less.

That's pretty much how I feel. I hate being in a server that's 6 on 6 or something small like that, and two guys are padding while another is AFK. They're always on my team, so it ends up me against the whole other team while the other guy playing crashes his jet repeatedly. Usually it's a good opportunity to TV some jets and whatnot, but if the other team is actually capping flags and flying a jet and chopper my team gets served.
Let them fester in their own little lame servers, humping each other with defibs and knives.

Like others here, padders themselves don't bother me, but they're irritating when they're on the same server as I am, although I generally play 64 man servers when available so it's not a big loss if you have a couple of guys off padding. At least no more than when half your team is waiting for a jet.

Don't bother me in the slightest, even if they are on a server I am playing on. After all easy target, two guys running around with knives and pistol trying to kill each other. One Tank round in to them and that's two easy kills to add to my K/D ratio.

What confuses me more is the purpose behind stats padding. Yeah getting the unlocks is obvious but what about stats padders that continue after they have the unlocks.... what the hells that all about?

When I had a secondary account I used in 2142, I went on K/P servers for the knife/pistol badges (plus it was different than just regular servers). At least there was a practical purpose there. I guess some people just like the attention (positive or not) they get when you're on top of the leaderboards.

Pistol/knife servers are good fun. I play them sometimes when i want a laugh.

I just fire up a secondary account and play on any I can find. :yay:

Don't need much unlocks for K/P anyways, defib, sprint, and extended clip.

I have no problem with K/P servers. None. They are a fun change of pace.
My problem is with the guys who join normal servers and pad. You know, the guy who takes the HMMWV out into the water to repair it. Of course friendly fire is usually off, so you can't even TK him to make him stop. What's worse is the commander who jumps into the tank/jet/heli to get armor/air/heli time. With FF off, and no attacking uncaps on most servers, that's a lost asset for the whole round.

Server Administrators may not implement or enforce server rules on ranked servers that prohibit players from using any roles, kits, weapons, vehicles or other features of the game while playing on their server. Examples of such rules that would violate the conditions of use are:

I never said I played on ranked KP servers. I said I have no problem with the padders all gathering in their own little sh|thole and leaving normal players alone. Did you actually read any of what you quoted? Just the first dozen words or so, huh? Wow...
