I do not hate the game at all and I think it can be pretty awesome at times. But when these little things get to you, it makes it hard to see COD4 the same again. and Battlefield Heroes is a poor excuse of a TF2 clone, sorry to say.

I play on a heavily modded server with mostly custom maps, so I guess I forget some of the little things that are frustrating. I haven't played on a ranked server in months. As for BF Heroes, I was being sarcastic. I know it's going to suck. Although they claim they had the idea for cartoon graphics before TF2 came out. I find that hard to believe.

Semi auto is not the same, it is one round after another when holding down fire. o when I mean semi-auto I mean burst fire, not like 3 rounds, but just semi.

Also to bring up the jets and chopper part now. Alright, well chopper seems to overpowered and so damn hard to take down. In Real Life, a Chopper would get taken down very easy with small arm fire in the right area of the chopper it self. Why not make some weak points on the chopper to be able to take it down easyer. With the jets, again overpowered, but that is how jets vs. infantry go. But I just wished you could call in your strike another a foe does and then both 3 jets come out, but they both fight eachother then bomb.

^^ Well, that's not semi-auto then. Semi-automatic means you click, it shoots, click, it shoots, etc. Burst fire isn't a type of semi-auto, it's a different firerate.

But that's beside the point. The helicopters... Yes, they are hax0rific, and I swear that they target the higher-scoring players more often, but they are easy to take down. Grab an M60 or an RPG and that thing is going down quickly.

They do target the highest scoring player... It's gotta be an internal code that basically gets current scores, guy with top score = 'highest danger' - then if several players in radius that helicopter can see and shoot at, it shoots at the highest danger, therefore the player with the top kills... It might even be based on current kill streak too, generally the guy on top has the highest current kill streak...

Single Fire, Semi-Auto, Automatic

Single Fire - Bolt action rifles
Semi-Auto - Pistols, you can shoot and shoot again without having to rebolt anything or do anything to the pistol
Automatic - hold the fire and it'll burst spray 3 bullets or spray for as long as you hold the fire key down.

m16 is automatic, set to burst fire mode. m4 is automatic, set to full mode. m14 is semi-automatic. m40a3 is bolt action/single fire.

YES!!! i am 100% on that.. I remember the other day playing as sniper on creek.. i was up to around 20-0 so i hadn't yet died and next thing u know i have died twice from one heli and then on the third spawn it literatly came back around and put me into the red zone before i jumped back into the barn. All in a time frame of no more than a minute.

K, most of your complaints, if changed, would make the game unbalanced and just boring.

I can understand why people are frusturated with martydom, but I fail to understand why you can't just run away after hearing the nade drop. Do you have headphones?... Laststand is way more annoying to me. No matter how many bullets you put into the guy from the time he falls till he pulls out his pistol, he still seems to always get at least one shot off. Basically from the time he falls till he hits the ground he can't be killed. Overall though I'm fine with the perks.

As some people have said, playing on smaller servers is the way to go. These maps are way too small for more than like 12v12. I try to stick to anywhere from 5v5 to 9v9ish...

No, I'm pretty sure you're wrong. Semi auto is when the gun fires as fast as you can tap the trigger. Like a pistol. Full auto is when you hold the trigger and the bullets keep on coming. Burst fire is when you squeeze the trigger once and three bullets are shot.

Adjust to tactics. If the server you are in has a lot of marty users or nade spammers... then camp with long range weapons. They will call you campers and cheaters and cry while you win and they die.

Also, I wish they made all the gun names "Gun 1. Gun 2. Gun 3", so then people can stop complaining about what gun deserves auto or semi auto or burst. FFS, its a game that has been balanced through hundreds of hours of testing. They put semi auto on some guns because of its long range capabilities. All the guns would be boring if they can all do the same thing.

Call of Duty 4 isn't a fact-based game. It's essentially like BF2 is, an arcade style FPS in the sense that, the guns/enviroment are designed for people to fire at each other, jump around alot and blow **** up.

If you do not like the G3, don't use the G3, it's pretty simple. For every person that loves something in a game, usually there is someone that hates it, so if IW was to listen to everyones feedback, they would be chasing their tails constantly.

One last thing, keep the BF: Heroes discussion to the BF forums please. :)
