Having a gold weapon won't make you a more 1337 player and it doesn't look good either. And the only weapon that you might use in gold is the AK47 (because who use the MiniUzi anyway?)

I've played the game for about 230 hours according to xfire and I don't have a single golden weapon which is pretty cool
