Alright man, have it your way. I've been reasonable enough, but you just can't seem to grasp the fact that 95% of the time a single deagle (just as an example) shot will down a target in hardcore WITHOUT a headshot.

I play this game just as much, if not more, than you. Don't think I'm oblivious to how things work.

I wont speak for him, but my very first Hardcore game was a laughing fest. I logged into Pipeline, started running around in the tunnels with a supressed MP5, which has 40HP damage and 20HP at range. I died the first time somewhere around 40 something kill mark, and it was because I experimented with something. I rolled the server so bad, that I would have easily ended up with a 100:1 KDR at the end of the round. I didnt need crosshairs because the center of the screen is the crosshairs itsself. I didnt camp once, and all I did was run around and jumping at people. It was a massacre and I felt sorry for the other team, none of which had a KDR above 1:1 (even though when I logged in, some of them had quite a good score). I wiped people off with 1-2 shots, and since it was CQC, I noticed that 1 shot was all it took, even though I hosed them usually, for good measure.

Its easier to kill in HC, a LOT easier. And yes, its easier to die too, but its significantly easier to deal with camping people in an unpredictable environment, than it is to deal with skilled players in the same one.

HC is a nightmare in objective games, and only because literally everyone sits at their position, and goes for the kills only.

Not my fault you wont use stopping power in softcore servers. It takes me one click on my m16 to take someone down. If they are far away, two clicks if I sucked at aiming the first time.

One burst to the neck area and you got a guaranteed kill. At long ranges I have to put 2 or 3 bursts towards the f*cker.

I've got a few servers that I always play on and they're a mixture of HC and SC. Whichever one has the most people is the one I join. I could careless if it's HC or not, cause I'm good at both! :evil:

It's kinda funny how everyone from SC argues about how it takes only "one shot" to kill in HC but they hardly even play HC so how would they even know? Vice Versa with SC.

How would I know?

Hardcore lowers the player's health to 30 instead of 100. The standard AR minimum damage is 30. The Pistol minimum damage is 20, which means two shots. But, you're most likely not going to be firing a pistol nor any other weapon that has a min damage of less than 30 across the map nor out of the maximum damage range. And the lowest maximum damage of all the weapons is 30.

We're not saying how many you shoot, because of course you shoot more, but you only NEED to hit with one bullet in HC (for most weapons).

Just run around with the deagle, it's obvious!

Sorry, but I find it hard to believe anyone can down an opponent in a SC server (40 players plus) with just 4 bullets. You have lag, detection issues, dealing with incoming fire, having to shoots through stuff.

Nobody said you would fire only four bullets to take somebody down, it was said that it takes four bullets to take some body down.

The magic 4 bullets figure is a myth.

Statistics/truth =/= myths/magic. 5 * 20 = 100 ≥ 100 (Pistol, minimum damage)
