Read the rest of my post. I realised it was spam after I posted.

There is no point in posting here anymore. People have their own opinions, and they are not going to be swayed unless they actually have experience with either set of controls.

It's like the chicken and the egg, this argument will go on for ever without a correct answer.

        Damn.

As for the edited part. Ive flown flight sims with KBs only all the way up to steering wheels (gas and break for elevators, yay). Ive flown BF2 with every peripheral device there is and I know pretty much every advantage and disadvantage for each peripheral device for BF2 (yes, JS has them too). There are a large number of people who can say the same, N2K being one of those crazy cats that came from M&KB and stuck with a stick. In the end, its not a "chicken and an egg", you can narrow the qualities, pros and cons down to the note and come up with a "statistical best". The thing that spices these things up is when people who value the lag-less control response time that KB offers, dont go for sticks intentionally.

        As for this

This is just insane. Considering the fact that theres no difference in character point of view between a flight sim and BF2 air. Just... crazy, batsh!t insane. Not to mention the fact that DICE added joystick support for this very same reason. Im arguing with crazy people. Crazy, batsh!t insane people.

          The egg came first.

Let's rephrase the question then: What came first, the chicken or the chicken egg? :P

And here, ladies and gentleman, is Waah's exceptional arguments as to why Mouse/Keyboard triumphs:

Tso, in all honesty, you are being far more useless in this thread than Waah, as the only thing you have managed to do is bash him.

You must have serious issues if you took the time to quote every single post he made.
                          GG.

Shush boys. Dont bash the guy just for pointing out your shortcomings. Im still amused at the argument you both support that BF2 air aspect is "limited" and flight sims are "not". I mean, he was actually smart enough to see that the whole concept of a "realism simulation" is extremely limiting, compared to BF2 air aspect where most of natural and technical aspects that hindered jets/pilots perfomance and were extremely timeconsuming.

Waaah, he even pointed this gem out.

Which obviously shows your lack of any knowledge on the subject of "what has a stick to offer?". You wouldnt be able to put forth a reasonable argument that actually held any water.

If Bf2 was a flight sim, you would actually have a big advantage if you had a stick. But since flight physics in Bf2 are retarded, you do not need a stick, you just need practice
And while Ive been ripping La Manche tunnel size holes to the sim analogy, you havent even touched the subject. You pointed out perhaps the least useful gem of "advice" because youre almost trying to say as if it was "personal preference" or "rock vs techno", while it clearly is just not. They all have specific pros and cons and some peripheral devices excel in certain areas but in the end, purely statistically, most of the better group of the pilots flies a stick and theres a reason to it. Or reasons.

Once again, if you recap this thread, people, you will find a typical JSvsMKB thread where one side has argumented posts backed with statistical arguments and facts, and the opposition is just so sad in their "expertise" that gems like one in my sig pop out. Epic.

A typical JSvsMKB thread, same ending, same conclusion.
