yea its great for simulating real life RC
i used to use flight simulator 2004 and fly from the tower view but theres proper RC flight sims available now, saves a lot in repairs and its damn realistic physics and graphics.

btw i dont use it on BF2 cos i didnt bother wiring up the buttons so theres no fire buttons etc just elevator yaw pitch and roll. its just great for any flying sim.

if you like IO - try mashtur city. thats a very good map as a vehicle or non-vehicle map. whereas strike at karkand has been corrupted largely due to "hackers" just a thought

yea i like road to jalalabad for IO. bf2 is quickly becoming IO only for me, as soon as a J10 is on offer its a one man war.

It gets really f*cking annoying when almost every server involves some combination of

- no baserape*
- no padrape**
- no soloing*
- no attacking uncaps despite holding every flag**

* Uh, if DICE/EA didn't want this to be accomplished, they would've coded it out one way or another.

** WTF am I supposed to do, let them get up so they can take me out? The whole point is to prevent the other team from doing anything.


As for admins making up their own arbitrary rules... well, nuts to them, because I'll do what's necessary anyway. War is Hell: DEAL WITH IT OR PLAY CHECKERS.

i've never heard of a soldier being kicked out of iraq during the gulf war, or allies/axis during the World Wars for base rape

i got banned from a REALLY good Australian server the otherday...reason? for team killing...why? because some nooob comes up to me and starts shooting me with a pistol..until i died then he would revive me as he was a medic and start shooting me again...i asked him why and his exact words were "lol to piss you off" so i stabbed him with a knife in the hope of being able to move to another area before he respawned but i found myself at the lobby with a ban notice... i dont know what people get out of doing it but it does get annoying.

lol man, thats so hypocritical on their part, oh well - you get some real annoying people sometimes, all you can do is move on.

yeah i mean its just basically making the game easier for the other team, EA didnt enforce such a rule for the game, so i dont see why people should dictate what should go on, granted it is their server and they should be able to do what they want, but it lessens the fun IMO - its no longer an intense firefight for survival, its just push...go back, push, go back etc. till one team wins

I get banned alot,and i mean ALOT!! for doing my job in game,say im playing spec-ops and blowin up commander toys and a enemy runs up and tries to kill me,I shoot back and if I win the battle i often see Kicked/banned for base rape infront of me befor i can reload my weapon.

I think next time after destroying the enemy toys,Ill just open up a lemonade stand instead of trying to stay alive as i flee the area.

i think they impose these rules for the noob players who cant figure out how to press the forward and fire keys when they have spawned...although i sometimes take base rape to the next level..on dragon valley if im the americans i parachutte onto the chinese airfield, hop in the personel copter and sit at the side mini gun and just mow them down as soon as they spawn because its in a direct line of sight the spawn point for the airfield but then again they should just respawn somwhere else and admit defeat..i killed a guy 5 times!! in a row and he wouldnt quit lmao
