bad players ruin the game for themselves. its up to you how fun your game is. not someone else. this is something i could never understand is people that will complain about a tactic someone usees and all they can do is just sit there, whine and cry about it and get owned.

I thought pod surfing was weak also and the game has been funner without it because people cant hide up on roofs so i can dome split them easier. Im just saying that you dont want people to play you so you need to have an open mind to things, this goes for any game.

I dont know what your talking about with "defending a line" thats kind of dull. You use your brain properly for the class that your using and you put an emphasis on using good positions and just taking out targets. that is it. you just want it to be easy i guess.

Podsurfing out of the APC is still possible. We had a guy on our NS server that jumped in the APC at the EU uncap, launched, and podded straight to warehouses to take the flag there. Completely passed the defenses set up at the docks. I've even seen them surf from the EU Uncap to the Pac locked base. Not exactly creative and does ruin the flow of the game.

You cant infer from me saying "keep an open mind" to "i pod surf." Yeah i know that i could rdx jump up onto buildings and put beacons down and be lame and all that but honestly i may have been up on a roof maybe twice since the patch, and that was from spawning on a beacon SOMONE ELSE put down. dont be stupid.

yeah my view on it is that theyre basically being women and instead of making the game fun and directly confronting enemies to take points on the map they feel that they need to magically fly to some secluded point where nobodies at so they can cap a flag(?) yeah i agree its pretty weak. i dont really see the point. its like yeah, winning is cool but not at the expense of being a total deush.

another server i was in the other night was moders bravaria. They allow podsufing and couldnt believe the cheek the admins had. Either way they were awful as 3/4 of the server were podsurfing i was capping and killing.

That's a shame, I used to enjoy the Modders Port Bav server is the distance past.

Surfing over the initial defenses pretty much negates all the fun on that map of the intense Docks firefights and the breakout.

i avoid knife servers always.. for one they are illegal and secondly theres more skill in knifing on legit servers then running about like a fairy in the middle of fall of berlin knife padding:laugh:

i dont really find this funny. caus people that do this are generally just bad players that dont like getting owned in real games so they go onto knife servers and are all like "im a big stubborn ******* and since knifing is stupid i'll just do what i want on this server."

instead of being a COMPLETE loser by clarking/rdxing on a knife server you should just stay on regular servers and be a mediocre player, instead of people getting really annoyed at you for being stupid they just wont notice you because your not that good.:hmm:

im sorry but IT DOES actually take more skill to knife people on a knife server than it does on a regular server caus you cant just run up behind some mentally challenged person and just shank them. everyone knows where you are. it is entirely different.

well, ok, it IS pretty funny. I've seen all 3. But i just dont like the mentality that people have about knife servers. They think its "illegal" or stupid or something when really its just instead of using any weapon you want you use a knife or defib. I find knife/pistol servers to be more intense than regular servers sometimes especially with pistol where everyone is together in close range shootouts and its a really fun alternative to the regular game.

I wouldnt mind knowing why people think knife servers are stat padding, you go on and fight against other people that have the same weapon as you and you get kills and points like on any other server.
