It's okay. You don't really need to worry about us over at =NfB=. After all, we're just a bunch of babies that ban all the good players so we can pwn the noobs. Last I checked, because you broke our rules, got banned, and then pitched a little hissy fit over it, you can't play on our servers anyway.

Sometimes when you have to explain something that you shouldn't have to, it's just not worth the time.:shakehead

There is usually good squadplay on them, and they are a lot of fun. So, keep trying to flame my servers, I can always use the publicity.
=NfB= has a Northern Strike server that has more of those crazy rules, like no attacking the PAC base until it's unlocked. :shakehead

Ah yes, such a crazy rule. After all, if you are on the PAC team, it's great when the goliath and a walker sit there in your base when it's locked. Sure, you could spawn at another location while the EU team takes your walker and both your speeders. It's a great way to keep the server populated. All those stupid rules that =NfB= has.

(Yet somehow, without really trying to populate it, it is the #2 US server running NS.)

Completely untrue. My two favorite clan servers to join are NfB and ATU, because of the fact they are well admined. Neither puts up with crap from unruly players, and I definitely appreciate that. Twice now, as a novice player on the NfB servers, I've pointed out a player who was breaking the rules, who was then warned and/or kicked.
If people want to abide by certain standards, there are servers that provide that. If you want no rules, unranked servers can provide that too.
Unranked is the key word here.

They are well admined... If the rule breaker is being Blatant. I must have tried to ask Disco 10 times to kick the rammer last night to no avail... Oh well, just meant I had to fly high.

I hate internet sarcasm, its so hard to tell if they are being sarcastic or if they are serious. Because of the "" smiley, I am going to assume you are being sarcastic...

Can't we have a rule, all sarcasm must be in green?

As annoying as the Voss is I agree, they shouldn't have a rule banning them from use. Likewise with vehicles until certain population; because I think it's jokes no matter which team I am on. Especially funny on the receiving end because your team still spawns with AR's while a walker runs around.

Unlike a lot of people who play BF, I play it for fun; others play it to win. I don't particularly care much; so losing a round because someone was a walker whore is whatever; kinda stupid but if it was a real war it could happen.

And as for server admins. I don't really care; I never check for admin status or what not, I just go in and follow the rules as best as they are detailed. Never got kicked for breaking rules; but I don't join the ones that are just retarded.

Besides, sometimes you can't help but rape the uncap; especially if the other team has no points 15 minutes into the game and you are getting bored.

Good admining goes along way to making a server playable IMHO. By this I do not mean enforcing a set of silly limitations on game play, but to kick/ban glitchers, stat padders, team killers, and those who are blatantly cheating. I was wrong in my statement that ALL admins only enforce the rules when it benefits them, because I have been on some well admined servers before. It's just that I'm a bit jaded by the... diversity (I'm being nice) that I see in rule sets among the various server, and the expectations that server admins seem to have that it's some how MY responsibility to learn the cornucopia of rules that exist across the various servers, then somehow remember which set of rules goes with which server (I never read that crap that scrolls thru the chat area).

Despite wishing to just being allowed to play the game as it was made, I am instead expect learn and play a slightly different "flavor" of the game depending upon which server I am in, and who is admining. I have neither the time nor the inclination to do this, so I play the same way I would across all servers. I very rarely conflict with the admins, so I guess I must be doing something right.

Well, I dont know about all the servers, but when we had 2142 servers the rules were on the load screen and the same rules scrolled in game every few minutes (We didnt have many, so it all fit fine). THEN we let people know they were doing something wrong and to stop. Once we got the "**** you! Youre not the boss of me." we knew it was time to give them the boot.

Anyway, I dont really have a point. Anyone can get their own server if they dont like rules. Theyve gone down a lot. Even I can afford one by myself and there are many to chose from, so you can move on if you do get kicked for whatever reason.
