I think the AK with a silencer and double tap is quite effective against the P90
Is P90 Overpowered?

Loads of weapons are effective against it, but there are quite a few factors to consider (range, perks, full auto or tap etc..).Comment

The only weapon, that I seem to be efficient against the P90 is the auto shotty. Which is the only kit I seem to use anyways

I guess its hard for a 15 year old to see that hes just disagreeing with those who say the P90 is overpowered.
And yes the P90 is overpowered, but it balances out because of the overall skill level of the average CoD player.Comment

To get on topic, you know I can understand why people would think it's overpowered, but I don't think it is. I one burst P90 rushing-spraying-hoppers like it's my job... they're almost like free kills. But that's probably because my M16 gives me a whole lot of range on P90's. I think the higher damage and better stability of the MP5, better accuracy and recoil of the Skorpion, and one shot ability of the shotguns make them equal to or better than the P90 in CQC. The P90's greatest advantage is its clip. You have a lot of grace to either miss, or down multiple targets.
I die more to grenades, snipers, and M4's than anything. M4's because everyone I play with uses one. I went G36 to be different lol. Grenades piss me off the most. I'm a nonstop whine box about grenades. All grenades thrown in my general direction become heat seeking specifically for players named "blank1." Fkn nades.Comment

I'm not "just disagreeing". It's that I have personal experience with a P90 at Knob Creek. The firing rate is about correct, and the magazine size is correct. It's authentic [ in that regards], not over powered. I sure wish I had one of those, instead of the M16A1 I lugged around.Originally posted by not_TimmytheHatI guess its hard for a 15 year old to see that hes just disagreeing with those who say the P90 is overpowered.

You'll should be lucky that COD4 does not even attempt to model ballistic performance against bullet resistant body armor. Then you would see a BIG difference between say, the MP5 and P90Comment

That is very true... Very good point. The P90 does have that "rifle-ish" bullet, designed to punch through body armor, somewhat like the round the mp7 uses.I'm not "just disagreeing". It is too bad they didn't implement body armor into the game... its a major part of modern warfare.Comment

Leave it to TimmytheHat, with his second account, to speak for somebody else and be wrong.

If you want to get realistic a 5.56 to the shoulder will rip your arm off, good luck firing back after that even if you don't die. Not the mention the AK's 7.62...I'm not "just disagreeing". That very much does depend on the velocity the bullet is travelling at. There are a lot of soldiers in Iraq and Afghan that have been hit in the arm by a 7.62 and recovered fully, equally, many haven't.
I may as well add in that a .50 bullet at high velocity can take your arm off even if it misses you by a centimetre or two.Comment

Eh, why wont you use it again if you are that good with it?Comment
