That's not to say it's skillful, but why roll/slide/drop around when the same result can be achieved without significant risk? Ranging is smart.

yea its smart but its not the right thing to whore, a few times yea I understand, but ranging all the time basically means u care about your score to much, plus if u brag that ur a pro at ranging which doesn't take any skill at all then ur simply bad :)

What's with the whining and crying ratio rising the higher you get up on the food chain in Battlefield 2?


Pilots whine the most about the J-10, and damage controlling their roles as solidified base rapers.

Helo pilots complain about a lack of suitable gunners, and gunners complain about a lack of suitable pilots. And Solo'ers complain about a lack of servers that allow them to play their style.

You rarely see a Tank guy claiming he needs more health, or how his tank should be disabled instead of just exploding after arbitrary hit points are deducted.

Nor do you see the Engineer who tirelessly repairs all the assets complain about never getting any vehicle drops. He just acts resourceful, and acquires one.



The best strategy contrary to the retard's belief is the one which works best under the circumstances. 'Ninja' style works great, but obviously -as indicative of this thread- not against Range types. 'Range' type only works when the target isn't obstructed by buildings or objects in its way.

The answer is: "The one that involves less crying". which is obviously not your tactic; or perhaps you're just giving that style a bed rep.

Ill do whatever I can to avoid getting shot down, whether that involves ranging or using cover, Im not going to limit my style of play just to be less of a "noob".

I do prefer the ninja (more offensive) method of flying, but if a situation necessitates ranging, I range.

Let's not forget this: there's one thing james is good at. And that is to SLIDE. Oh my god does he slide good, sliding very close to the ground and at a fairly high speed, it's almost impossible to hit him.

^^You used a hack? Coz thats not possible (Yes i know your talking about PR). TV missiles in PR had a maximum range of 1000 meters in 0.6 and in 0.7 there are no TV missiles.
