MP getting a little boring all ready?

I am on lvl 55 for a while now and I still like own like crazy together with a friend. I am just worried that everyone will be commander (lvl55) soon and that kinda ruins the fun.
Too bad the PC version doesn't have prestige mode.
Try playing different game modes, really cool. but TDM is getting a little boring.

I learned that aswell, CoD 4 was meant so you lvl fast. Not like 7 months for BF2 ranks.

If you want to manually reset your stats, you won't get any icon, but delete the "mpdata" found in your, ".../Call of Duty 4/players/profiles/yourprofilename/" I'd suggest backing up your mpdata though.

That's one thing I found odd when I installed. Not being able to have Scope + Silencer or ACOG + 203. In the real life, you can.. I can see where they might of come from with it only being 1.

im the 3 star general, and its kind of starting to go stale, without new maps and weapons, its just the same thing over..

What the hell do you expect?! The game just came out a little over a week ago and people already want new maps and weapons?! Why don't you go and start making some maps and weapons for CoD4 yourself?

There's a difference between what you posted and an opinion. All you did was rip on the game. Even everything you said was ripping on the game, even the whole point of the game as an infantry game.

Yeah it got boring, that's why I uninstalled it and went back to 2142. Infantry only gets boring quickly.

You can use the CoD2 radiant (requires game, packed with mod tools), it's said that we'll be able to port older .map files. Possibly even .map files from the original editor (which doesn't need the game), but I wouldn't rely on these.

Yes, this is why I rather just wait for COD4 map tools. They promise easy use and better features. Also to the fact that this is IW, NOT crap EA. IW IS VERY GOOD about their patches and releases date times.

the problem isnt the unlocks themselves, its how easy it is to get them. in BF2 it would take forever to get a high rank. if all the ranks and unlocks where harder to get then we would still be on a mission to get them. i see guys that are rank 44 the second time around. that just crazy. i unlock something every round it seems. im now rank 42 and the only thing left to unlock is the .50 cal. im no sniper so that will be old fast. evrything about this game is too short including the SP missions. the way i look at it is ..... ive already got my moneys worth and it was way worth it. until the next good FPS comes out i'll be jamming COD4 but as soon as one does ....its over.

forget everything, you need a vacation. You need a couple of days off. NO GAMES AT ALL!!! NO COMPUTER AT ALL!! I'm not kidding. You'll thank me afterwards. I recommend 1 week... Not that hard. I did it too. And it's unbelivable what happens when you "come back". I then realized what people call "a miracle"

When I do that I get turned off games But after about a month, once you come back, you really do have fun. Then again you get bored, then have fun...

I seriously do not see myself getting bored of this anytime soon. When I max out my rank, I'm just going to go for challenges. Right now I'm working on the gold AK and it is taking me forever to get enough headshots. In this type of game, the gameplay>stats. I don't feel like I have to stat whore like I did for BF2.

I havent got to 55.. (53) and im already bored of pubs thats why I play league and work with people to accomplish a difficult task. Its not amazingly fun as getting a new game and pubbing it but it defiantly keeps the magic for me.
