Choppers anti-vehicular skills are unmatched. From a multitasking standpoint, there is no more versatile element in the game than a chopper crew. A soloers anti-vehicular capabilities are still vastly superior to of a bombers crew. The numerous chopper "soloing" videos on youtube.com can attest to my claim. And a chopper crew/soloer can keep a constant supporting presence around a flag with a precision strike ability, which a jet pilot can not.

1. Its not "bit" more precise, its "a sh!tload" more precise. Im sure you can clear out every infantry grunt around a flag with one pass, leaving your teammates unharmed... right.

Now see, you keep adding in crew...It might be debatable altho I still say the bomber crewed > heli crewed, but this discussion was around redlining to solo... There isn't even a question that a crewed bomber > solo heli but you still insist on saying I am wrong just because you think so. It doesn't matter that I have given you multiple points of why.

That takes time and LUCK, because were dealing with mobile threats. If you were competent, youd know a chopper wont sit still, and in the 15 second timeframe that youd need to reposition yourself for an approach, he may have aswell be gone. Same for tanks. Which is why jets are limited to swoops and passes only, which is their greatest limitation, while a chopper can TV the crap out of the whole enemy force and still maintain a constant presence around a specific perimeter, staying safe and haveing a lightning fast response time. All it takes for a chopper pilot to respond to a situation, is to turn around a shoot a TV. This takes about 5 seconds tops, and only needs one attempt.

Furthermore, your experience and the validity of your statements is under question if you think that chopper dogfights last long enough to lose the grip of the situation. Or, in any case, longer than jet dogfights. The reentering into engagement after a dogfight also takes less time.

That truth is simply your limited experience in the game. I agree that its a matter of poor taste, but "valuable"? Give me a break. You cannot for the life of you make your team lose enemy flags as fast as you can with a chopper, that kind of infantry support is unmatched and unrivaled.

Maybe you can't, but I've seen many pilots that can do as much damage and don't make a pass and go back for ammo... The helo doesn't take flags it supports the advancing ground pounders and yes a good bomber can support them just as well. Using the canons on infantry,aa, transports and apc's letting the gunner take out heavy armor each pass is devastating just like a chopper.

I still have a crap ping so canons aren't real effective in A2A but all I need is a spot on the min map and I can be pretty effective even beyond fog.. the closer the jet gets the more pinpoint the canon fire is. You think you're skilled so I guess you know it's real easy to pick off the known hiding spots like inside bunkers. Even easier for cockpit shootouts if you are descending vertically on that killer helo and can shoot straight down on the cockpit.

I hope this gets my point across since I tried very hard to mimic your post as to be easy for you to comprehend. Again I'll even give ya some respect and tell ya this will be my last post for a while cuz it's time to go waste my time using that useless Su.

Only thing I hate about geting redlined is NOT even been given a chance at all.
If i am not working out to well for the pilot,Hell yes ill jump out.
Some pilots i work pretty well with but there are some that I just cant find a groove with i guess.

If I see a free chopper and a jeep next to each other, guess which vehicle I’ll take…
But I remember a long time ago on Wake, when I was a noob, getting for once in the gunner's seat.
“Get out!” Screamed the pilot.
“Are you kidding?! - I just got in.”
After a while, the chopper went a little too close to the map edge.
“What kind of a noob pilot is this?!” I was thinking, as I ejected from the crazy chopper.

I agree Sloi, I solo choppers aswell. Why give your biggest aspect of advantage to the hands of a newb. Some people say you practice and you learn... well I say practice offline, there is a reason why you get training before you go into war.
